  1. I use the Ali mesh they use for car body repairs to bridge gaps, really fine and bends easy to give it something to glue to. Hall fords here I the UK sells it but I'm sure it can be brought over there bro
  2. I use the same Rom/fx set up in my scout, just usually with the static burst off. 12v with Nokia car hands free speaker
  3. I would send Rob a pm mate about armour, just to get more up to date answers on armours available now. There are more options now mate, since we spoke way back
  4. Why are you wanting the efx so bad?
  5. That's fine mate, it's cotton so alls good, it's the nylon type if stuff which isn't really any good
  6. SC Is good mate, it's what I use. Although I went with a different bucket as my noggin is medium/ large
  7. As Chef said really the only evidence that is fact is clear screen grabs from the actual film, everything else is a bit so so just like the MOM exhibit and blue ray walk round
  8. Agreed the bottom of the flap is narrow, but certainly not a clearance issue. The external stitching I'm not sure about either. But will get you cleared I'm sure
  9. Possibly or just the upturned neck collar on the under suit they used, as we do. You can't see any real height to it mmmm
  10. They are optional bro, not a clearance restricting item
  11. That's why I went with the curved top and flat sides on my build, sort if the best of both worlds if you like. The top vent holes are very important too. I'm my opinion the mg42 is completely wrong, but it isn't dot 19 either in my mind
  12. The guys comments are what I would pick up on, looks like you have external stitching on the pouch flaps ? If so they really shouldn't be like that and can't see a clear shot of your thigh straps, riding patch and butt flap are they there?
  13. Hate to say it, but you probably needed to spend more time heating and stretching before glueing. You do as you say have loose and wrinkled areas. Are they acceptable, only your GML can say if he would let them clear, or not but for lancer probably not
  14. Welcome to the BS.N mate
  15. They do look like the sole will be tough to trim, but I recon they would do. Just beep the toe trims tight down to cover the faux stitching that can be seen around the sole
  16. I would suggest you take a look at my build thread, on the DC. The MG really is different and no good as a base in my eyes. The stock and main body shape will work, but the barrel is not the same at all, neither are the main body greblies. I would go completely from scratch mate and get it right. Glad to help along the way
  17. The way I look at it I've never seen a scout carry a DLT19, that's a TK/sandy weapon. The only true weapon is the hold out pistol this is fact, a handful carry a DC15x in the battle front game. So there is the argument under EU, which is why I built that one. At the end of the day the E11 is just wrong, and the DLT19 is used a lot also by other characters and only really seen on a couple of busts and that was down to lack of research and being lazy, so I prefer to look completely different and use the DC15 only because no other character can really use it, The DC is much more interesting in the barrel, is I would go that route bro
  18. Yes it's wrong as it's mirror imaged, look at the hump, the bund also does up the wrong way like that. When you say 5 segments are you referring to the 5 boxes on the belt, if so yes they just go pretty much where they go. The belt ideally wants to be one piece or at least look like one piece
  19. On behalf of the comand staff, we would like to welcome Paul aka Landeaux TB-11981 to the Lancer ranks Be sure to get a picture to Jim Griffinx for the lancer page Now get out there and make us Lancers proud brother!
  20. Looking good bro, can you just post a picture of your biceps so I can see they both face forward Thanks
