  1. Ok, here it is. You know, I think I'll start using the straps on the bells all the time now. They actually made everything feel like it fit better with them on. Odd..
  2. Great topic, great discussion, great info. Great people too, it's info like this that keeps them coming here.
  3. No..have them just never use them. Have a troop this weekend. Will add them and post pics this weekend.
  4. SC armor and KS bucket here too. Good combo if ya ask me, though if you can afford an MLC v3 then go for it, or you can wait until LW decides to do a run on his, if he does.
  5. What Dan said. Looks like some badly trimmed Atin parts, which would explain why they were just given to you, and not sold to you. Honestly, save up for an SC kit and just junk those. Or save them for a project...but if you want a good looking scout, don't bother with those.
  6. Ok, here ya go. 7 like I thought. Disregard the circle crease as it's been in my armor bin and some how got under my belt.
  7. Wanna say seven. I'll check tonight and post a close up when I get home from job #2.
  8. Sure, will do when I get home from work.
  9. You're really getting after it aren't you? Looking good so far. Keep up the good work.
  10. Either or. I just went with 3, but 2 will work for you as well.
  11. I think it's best that you fit your belt and get your clips installed on both sides before attaching. At least that's what worked for me. Once the fit was down, I installed the straps. Have someone help, pull them up and attach behind the belt to the edge of the buckle, or what ever you thinks looks good enough for you.
  12. OOo yes, do keep us informed. Nice find.
  13. Actually I have SC as well. For my t-bits and greeblies I used e6000. That zap a gap is expensive, but. I'll use it though when my animated arc armor comes in from kev.
  14. You're close. Have to change the visor hinge bolt covers. Also, is that the KS snout? If so, that's gotta be changed as well.
  15. Pouches moved in, sleeves fixed as best as I could to keep it from looking like I've got shoulder pads. *crosses fingers*
  16. Dude, great job on the bucket, and kudos for having the courage to even try to mod it.
  17. Also wear that one, and they conform to the face better too then the cheaper, thicker ones out there. I also tuck mine in.
  18. Welcome to BS.N. Remember to post an introduction, tell us a little more about youtself.
  19. About the straps. Don't know what to tell ya. Only thing is I guess they are assuming that if you're submitting for Lancer, then you should have followed rule 7 about the fabric for the straps. I just wanted piece of mind knowing that I at least had that right. Your build looks good though. Your GML should approve that easily.
  20. Knew it wouldn't be too much longer. Congrats John!
  21. NIce job...did you take any pics of the damage before you fixed it?
  22. Both, as far as I know. I just played it safe and replaced both. The back, you can get a yard of cotton webbing for less then $3. I think I used Jontay.com for my webbing. Cheap, and ships quick.
  23. Good job so far, and moving a long nice and quickly. Just remember that if you plan on going Lancer, you will have to replace the nylon webbing for cotton webbing.
