While doing my Shadow Scout boots, I used a squared off hobby blade. I have some of varying sizes, cut the outline to the depth I wanted, then just slid it up or down to cut out the groove. Pain in the but, but it worked and looks good.
Follow the tutorial...it's really not that hard, and you might have to bug your wife for about 10 min worth of sewing. Oh, you should go introduce yourself in the introductions section if you already haven't.
Rank stripes look a little long, and the pin striping on the tank look a little uneven, but that could be due to the angle. Looking good though, your wife's gonna be happy eh?
The Lancer qualifications state nothing about it being just one rivet on the belt. It's one rivet on the tank topper instead of the 2 which the SC instructions show.
The top is fine really, unless you want it perfectly symmetrical. As for the bottom, Jeff from SC told me that at the most you could trim about 1/4" off the side with more material. Oh, and don't forget to paint that rivet on the bottom of the tank white.
If anyone could, post pics/tips/info on the fan set ups you have in your buckets. I think it would help all of us newbs out a great deal. Like, what parts, where to get them, cost, etc.
Def a great topic going on here. And if we show up, we would probably be hoping for more then just tea.
Seriously though, with how it looks now, I would almost certainly take it over most, if not all, out there on the market.
Ya'll are just going to make me feel bad now
So anyone reading this. SC makes nice armor. I would buy from him again in a heart beat, and most likely will when I'm ready to go black.
