The shins look good. Just make sure that you have enough room to slide your foot in, and that it can slide over your knee, when you have to put your boots on. (Since it has to be seamless.) If you have a lot of room in the calf area after you have it all on, (Which you might.), Add a piece of dark colored foam to the inside of the shin, to keep the shin from moving around as you walk. It's hard to get the right size for the top of the shin. It was never as easy part to put together.

Hey fellow Kashyyykians! I no longer make the Kashyyyk gloves. Just kinda burnt out on making them. Don't feel like sewing much anymore. However, there is someone else that makes the Kashyyyk gloves. They are made very well, too. (I've seen pictures.) (You might need to provide the rubber gauntlet greeblie that is in the Bikerchick Armor kit, though) For your Kashyyyk glove needs, contact "Hound's Tooth" here on BSN. Cheers!

Bikerchick makes them. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10944

British Desert DPM military shirt and pants. (Cotton, not rip-stop material.) Dyed a very dark brown, with just a touch of black to make it darker.

True. Paint doesn't adhere well to rubber. But, do your best and call the rest "battle damage."
-
"But IMO KT is one of the best outfits and I can relate to it. I actually can't understand why it's not a lot more popular." - Sac I know, right??? I'd go with the boots on the right. The sole looks pretty close. Just a little bit of work and painting. (Unless you found something else.)

having trouble, pepakura files would help
Grumpy replied to HERB's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Armor/Helmet
You're in the right section. I haven't seen any pep files for the helmet or the armor. Sorry. Post some pictures of your build. -
I don't know of anyone that has made a Pep file for the Kashyyyk Trooper. If you find one, please post it.

Well...it's official from the LMO. It will be staying as "CB" for the two letter designation.

K - For Kashyyyk B - For Biker It's not a camo Kashyyyk Trooper anymore in Star Tours. (And probably not a Clone.) And it's only shown on a Speeder Bike. Of course it's on Kashyyyk, but it's after the Empire has been established. And yes, there is a lack of camouflage. Most likely due to the Emperor wanting uniformity within his new Empire. The Emperor probably kept his troops on the planets he has control over. (Kashyyyk - for the Wookiee labor) Hence, showing the new white & black Kashyyyk Troopers on 74-Z Speeder Bikes chasing Wookiees. I was just keeping in the theme with the letter "B" for the Pathfinder characters. ****I know it won't make a difference, but here is how I always saw the letter meanings... 1. TB - Trooper Biker 2. CB - Clone BARC (Initial background meaning - showing one on a BARC Speeder - for the toy, and in the comic...my guess) Can't change it to CT...already taken. 3. KB - Kashyyyk Biker. **** For the Ep. III character - "CB" - due to them actually being Clones. After the Rise of the Empire, not all of them would still be Clones. (Like the ANH TK's) So my version would be a "K" for the planet it's on (Kashyyyk), and "B" for Biker - relating to the ROTJ Biker Scout. Nothing to do with the camouflage now. The Kashyyyk Trooper was kept as "CB" as it was already established as such. There was a call to change it to "KT" for was it's called, but since "CB" was already in place, we decided to just keep it as "CB" with "Kashyyyk Trooper" added as the description. Others...(Just guessing) TK - Trooper Knight - (Due to the Ralph McQuarrie concept trooper holding a lightsaber.) TR - Trooper Royal (Guard) TS - Trooper Snow TD - Trooper Desert TI - (Duh) TIE Pilot TC - Trooper Clone (Episode II) CC - Clone Commander CT - Clone Trooper (Episode III) ...etc. And finally...it's listed as "CB - Kashyyyk Trooper (white variant)" - unless the LMO will change it. Even though it mostly the same armor, but now white (And a little bit of grey), the helmet is showing signs of changes heading towards the ROTJ Biker style helmet. So, it's not the same as a regular Kashyyyk Trooper.

This was the post that started the ball rolling on this costume. 3 YEARS AGO!!!
-
I already have a CRL made for it. (I just have to send it to the new LMO.) I had the CRL written when I submitted it the first time. (Plus, I need to take pictures of the indiviual pieces.)
-
Great Keith! More is good! Not sure if it will be called a "KB" as much as I would like it to be. The "official" listing is "CB Kashyyyk Trooper (White variant.) http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Pathfinders_CRL It's a second costume for the Kashyyyk Trooper character. My guess is that the LMO wants to keep the "lettering" down. Another example would be that all versions of a Stormtrooper (Commander, Heavy Weapons, Sky Trooper, etc.) are all listed as "TK." Reference pictures for this White Kashyyyk (*ahem*...Biker) version are: 1. The giant Fathead picture 2. The visual appearance in the Star Tours ride. (When traveling to Kashyyyk.) 3. The back of the large Scout Trooper figure package. 4. The new Ultimate Star Wars reference book. (Page 290) Most of the "Kashyyyk Biker" utilizes the same materials and armor as a Kashyyyk Trooper. The most notable differences are in the lens area and the snout of the helmet. And the "option" of a hard or soft version of the cod piece area. (I recommend the "soft cod" because I sewed it to the pants.) I kept it separate from the cummerbund. That makes it easier to mount a Speeder Bike. There are some color differences on the biceps, but basically everything else is white. Shirt & pants are all black. Gloves are all black, including the gauntlet greeblie. Cummerbund, pouches, rubber belt, drop pouches, all armor pieces (Except the biceps), boots (has a grey sole), and helmet, are all white. No known "hold-out weapons." (Just the Speeder Bike, so far.) I keep saying that this is the "in-between" or "evolution" character from the Kashyyyk Trooper to the ROTJ Biker Scout. I hope that makes some sense... Cheers everybody!
-
...aaaaaand, it has been approved. First one for the Legion. (It's the "in-between" character of the Kashyyyk Trooper and the ROTJ Biker Scout.)
-
Bikerchick currently makes the Kashyyyk armor. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10944 Send her a pm and add a post to the sale thread.
-
Too much brown shows. Not really acceptable. Yes, the cummerbund might cover a lot of it, but it's still not the right one to use. Try to find a regular British Desert DPM shirt. (Cotton, if possible. Don't use the Rip-stop material.) Cheers!

Wow! Heavy Metal Kashyyyk! -
Good looking boots!

Life just might get easier... I'm on third shift right now. I have no will to do anything. However...I will be going back to first shift soon. Shawn, I replied to your pm on FB. I've been the Kashyyyk promoter (Cheerleader...so to speak) for almost 6 years now, and Kashyyyk Armorer for a few years. I need to get back in the game and help you guys build more Kashyyyk Troopers. Why should I stop now?
-
Yep. What Brent and Rezboy said.
-
Bikerchick is the only Kashyyyk armor maker, at this time. Her kit includes all of the rubber greeblies, as well. That other listing on the Clonetroopers site is actually a Bikerchick kit. Not sure why he has it on there, unless he bought it and now wants to sell it. But, he shouldn't claim to be the maker.

DC-15s Aluminium Build Thread Pictures
Grumpy replied to Hunter CB4083's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Weapons
Wow! -
Greedo, out of Washington State, used to make some good DC-15's. (Rifle and shorty.) Not sure if he still makes them or not. You could also try WoodChuck from the Florida Garrison. Any weapon he makes is always top-notch!
-
Hey Chunk, those are Biker Scout gloves on the Ebay site. Tags is looking for Kashyyyk Trooper gloves. And Tags, Bikerchick now inludes the gauntlet greeblies with her Kashyyk Trooper kit. It's included with the rubber parts. I'll try to find a picture of the gloves I have used for other Kashyyyk troopers, in the past.

Crow62's boots are the most movie accurate, but the turn around time might be better than what it used to be. Plus, he makes the soles black, instead of tan, now, for some reason... But, the choices you posted are all good. You just need a good sole to work with. To dremmel out the large arch and the smaller arches along the sole.
