Nice one!! -
One of the costume makers ( a business that does costume making ) said that whilst they couldn’t help have me the name of this firm https://clothearscostumes.com/replicas/ I looked at their website and they creat stuff from ideas to full commisions As can also be seen on their site they are well versed in doing Star Wars costumes and doing them to custom sizes. Take a look and let me know cos I’m going to contact them later

I did ask chef if would do it and he’s got waaaaaaay to much on other wise he might. Wish we had someone who would do as I know crowproos were going to but I dunno if they did I’d have no issues ordering from abroad if could find some crazy lunatic ( on here lol ) that would be wiling to take it on for which I would happily compensate handsomely for

How much material would you say it needs in metres , rough guess obviously but then you've all seen my chubby ass scout lol. That stuff I posted is around 7 quid a metre but then would need the mesh plus the backing material for the ribs etc. Thinking from googling its a bout 3-4m of each? I can see why people aren't doing this its a PITA eh lol

This was the mesh stuff id seen ( in black obvs ) https://www.fabricuk.com/fabrics/395-airtex-mesh-fabric.html?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiMmwBhDmARIsABeQ7xQgnWH6i6Yis47BjVooMbJBAadHW6HZp0XMw-uyLoztUQnwI_0f2cwaAix7EALw_wcB Or this https://www.petercookint.com/fabric-fillings/lining-cloth/polyester/clo566-54-fr-black-polyester-lining-cloth

@Mandrake’ve not emailed carol in case she has flashbacks lol Hopefully that material sample rocks up today and can post it up. Did you source the materials and provide them to carol ? Just trying to wrap my head around it. Or can I just say what you did here for Justin but my measurements lol. Luckily the neck seal isn't needed lol Also , got a picture of the pants?

One option would be to have a US based pathfinder to order them therefore paying the star price and then posting over to the Uk at the price that’s been showing for merch runs etc. Funds could be sent to the purchaser via PayPal Its an option maybe -

Just for an update , as when I do another kit its the PT , and have spoken to troy and he would be willing to ship to the UK despite what his Etsy says but obviously its gonna be reasonable cost, that said for the quality it would be its gonna be worth it -

Given that chef specs his kit to level 2 I believe it's possible to apply should I want to ( no sniggering @Aradun yes I know I wouldnt lol ) however... Reading off the CRL I know the shoulder bridge covers would need addressing given that they are now well over the 0.5 to 1" length. I do have the originals somewhere. So assuming I can get the covers sorted how would address the fitment issue that this would cause. Would it be a case of redoing the side straps to increase the length to then be able to pull the two half back together at the bottom so it doesn't sit too proud ? Here's a side on as it was for any clearance so any tips would be great to see if its at all possible .. current shoulder bridge covers , originals were 1" If what I think is possible then it could be worth a look , if not im happy to be a regular pathfinder for now. -
Cheers Justin , Id rather ask as the GML's over here can be a bit picky. So smooth collar would be as you have done it. That's good to know 🙂

forgot to ask, CRL shows the shirt with a ribbed neck seal as part of the shirt but the video shows yours doesn't. Is it a separate piece or is it not needed anymore

Amazing stuff. Checked out @troygordon2 Etsy store. Shame he only ships those buckets within the US

Ahh thats a genius solution. So essentially you could make a modified scout bund without the padded strips on the front and add a zipper instead of the velcro . That all makes so much sense. Be very interesting to see your solution to the strap ache , I sort of considered something like the batted material from the bund and have the strap pass over that ( just wide enough to fit the strap ) or something like the arm padding off a backpack but smaller again. And then velcro the stuff. Genius solution Cheers man

Was watching the CRL and suit up video. Was wondering how the flexible sections were secured to that genius inner bund harness.

Pants Black, loose-fitting, cotton type material. Pants without pockets are preferred. If pockets are present the front pocket must open discreetly along the outside leg seam and the rear pockets do not have flaps. White narrow vertical stripe trim on the outside of each leg. Pants are not overly wrinkled. Now given that would non baggy cotton/polyester blend jogging bottoms be an option? Found ones with very discrete zip pocket that you would have to know were there to see when closed. Have side seam which will be hidden by addition of the stripe The ones in black. Now if has to be the more chino style then fair enough but unless ive misread it then would these meet the basic? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jogging-Tracksuit-Trousers-Elasticated-Sweatpants/dp/B08YJNBWWR/ref=sr_1_25?crid=2IEMXMH000ST8&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.v7475W8wBg34juJgOhyeOG6OJSqtw6SelTmW5B-FwLgmzw0LtpI-WODyRLziI86OXAnGNH1PLpi9QZCEVUjZKacSPbMAybqQD38jo5KdmWpQU85roD35Zfu_ldWiGaB4Euh3m6vuazNwskvIdrb9UVLiM_GjCGIXwpAiFaN2wxyxDjRftY6jXpnqNitF4xgY48jw8keOqUO1koh3fZ0vZahzh-dwUVD4g75srH0m5aLTJBJ7G08ZkpAPxm5PACr3xh6M2SBP6rVGKqogit2svP_S5SP6YODhHILsemO7NSw.DK2KBeRIRSu0MINd4lIFWHPzc5xq8FbqXoaUN4hiCz0&dib_tag=se&keywords=cotton%2Bjoggers%2Bmens%2Bno%2Bpockets&qid=1712607100&s=apparel&sprefix=cotton%2Bjoggers%2Bmens%2Bno%2Bpocketc%2Cfashion%2C75&sr=1-25&th=1&psc=1 Its a minefield this lark or if not then what about https://www.badrhino.com/badrhino-black-rugby-trousers-p rear pocket can se sewn closed then wont be seen. side pockets sewn closed and then covered by the stripe.
