TreeHuggerMatt Scout Trooper ( ROTJ ) WIP
TreeHuggerMatt replied to TreeHuggerMatt's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout WIP
Removed the excess foam and padding and fitted this . Now fits slightly better and stops helmet being forced on to side of face and lifting the front forward. Now more room to fit fans and power supply when that arrives -
Cheers @BikerScout007 it would be taken from the view of the costume as a whole so if it’s hidden. We’re golden cheers boss happy 4th for tomorrow Mickey

Here’s something. Have any of our PTs had mesh panels fitted to the jacket at all for helping with heat? My dodgy thinking was a small section on the front and back above the felt? Section at the bottom of the jacket as seen on @MrPoopiesuit up video and a similar section on the back. Given that it would all be hidden by the armour the seamstress can do it eventually in the future but as the crl pic still shows the full jacket in the leather like stuff would that be a potential fail point come clearance. Any help on this from anyone would be amazing

Got it. 4 total panels. 2 each side awesome. Thanks again mate
-
Thanks man. so the 2 smaller tpu sections are on the outside and the widest one is , just wonder as the widest one you said was 48cm and is that printed in 1 piece or is it essentially 4 pieces and 2 are joined together to make the wider one. guess im badly trying to ask on that great pic about which section goes where sorry for not being a bit clearer earlier
-
Thanks for that , how would they be arranged around that bund , ie if the bund was unzipped and laid flat Cheers

Found someone in the ISG that would make the stuff for me but its not gonna be cheap but she is reaosbanly local and would be properly fitted and tailored not just send measurements and hope lol

Did you ever get a jacket for that or that still on the to do list
-
Might think I park this for now Struggling to find either the material or the ribbing and any contact with folks that state they make costumes like this just goes to nothing.. Pants would be less of an issue and the boots and armour are easily found, Its just so frustrating. Wish I could find someone to make it but hey ho. It is what it its eh i do wanna do it but maybe just not yet I’ll smash it when I do

I can send over the size chart I gave chef if that would help. Plan is if I can source a jacket and pants id then buy your files and then eventually print them off. Ive added to dropbox and DM'd the link

Uniform Warehouse slacks
TreeHuggerMatt replied to BikerScout007's topic in Patrol Trooper Soft Parts
https://www.uniformswarehouse.com/100-polyester-elastique-weave-uniform-slacks-54910.html @Hask @BikerScout007 Would they be an option? Yes they can add the white striping. Course id need a lovely US pathfinder to ship em , I can bribe lol -
Thanks so much @MrPoopie so given my issue ( If you’d seen my scout WIP ) it’s now just an issue of size. I’m guessing there isn’t a fixed size on the panels other than build volume so I was hoping I could resize the “width” so the two sides reach a wee bit further round to cover the inner bund ( which I will copy lol ) and also the rest panel but still keep the gap at the back. Which will be covered by the rear panel. just need a jacket and trousers sorted and that’s proving incredibly difficult lost count of the costume makers I’ve asked and either said no or don’t respond might have to get desperate lol Thanks for the pics Justin very good of ya

One more q if I can. what’s the size of the tpu panels? Just looking at 3 printers and obviously wanna get one with a big enough build volume
-
awesome!!
