It’s gone around the rivet so until I hear back from chef I’ve used t shirt to back it and provide a mesh then glued each piece one by one and used activator. Then a tiny dab of modelling putty to fill it then will sand to show rivet and then paint and lacquer. Worth a try

Was just seeing it better way to get boots on for myself then not only has the pull tab come off the right boot but somehow the lower left corner of the holster has cracked off so now I need a new one of them seems this life ain’t meant for me. Everything just keeps getting worse. Dont wanna quit but it seems every time I get ahead something breaks again All I did was stand up and put the boot on 😭😭😭😭 Thqts said I have the small section that cracked off , I have superglue and activator , CA glue and the amber gorilla glue. I have putty to fill a crack and white gloss paint and black to redo the base plus lacquer plus weathering Is it possible?

Shade 3 lens arrived but was green so worried a bit. However cut a scrap test piece to check and even right up close with a piece barely held in and in daylight eyes can’t be seen so I’m gonna make a proper one and fit to the helmet tomorrow looks great even in direct sunlight so will remove this and shape the better shaped one tomorrow. Dodged a bullet

Heard back from chef who’s gonna also send me a section but he says he uses shade 5 so hopefully see a bit better this time lol. Was proper dark

I can get that on Amazon uk but via the US I’ve found few very similar but they all say shade 5 and not sure if that’s dark enough

I was wiping and freshening stuff up post troop and one of my gf’s eldest , who’s also autistic , had a frustration wobble and threw a bottle of ketchup from the other side of the kitchen. Now , because it’s me , The gf had bottle of acetone which was next to me to clean some stuff off her nails. The bottle gets knocked over and runs all over the table including my helmet. ive salvaged the rest of it but the lens is goosed. Got it out easily but I wanted to check what type and thickness / darkness I should get to cut and fit the replacement Honestly it’s been a struggle this thing lol

Was there a price for this ? Had a look in his pinned post as he stated but couldn’t see it

So I’d originally gotten that 19x and made a bit of a mess of it because I rushed it and had to essentially redo it all again after trying to take it back to the print. However because I’m cursed I fell in the kitchen and landed on it leaning against a wall. This then snapped it into about 3 pieces and little shards went everywhere which essentially means it’s a write off 😢 So I bought a 20a and this time will do it properly. lessons learned

Decided not to bother but have them anyway in case need in the helmet. Also blaster has been completely reworked and ready for primer again i fu.. really hate sanding 😂😂
