  1. Working on getting a set of the shins printed and finished right now to see how it all works out. Finished welding the parts together and fitting everything up, next is resin.
  2. Chest Decal. There are 3 files for cutting decals (full, black only, and red only). All files are SVG and there is a 1" square included in each file for proper sizing and alignment. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5jycfvpupfv2sfv/Treadspeeder Driver Chest Decal.rar?dl=0
  3. I'll list any parts that I create to help with the CRL building process.
  4. Let me know when you get to your harness. I have a few extra tips and tricks to keep everything in place that I figured out after suiting up a few times.
  5. You will need assistance getting dressed in this armor no matter how look at it. It's really difficult to get the battery pack and harness situated properly and get everything buckles once you have your armor on. You lose a lot of mobility in the shoulders once your chest and shoulders are on. Because of this having the zipper on the neck seal isn't really an issue. Looking great.
  6. You might be able to get some light blue LEDs and use both to give a lighter color added with some variation.
  7. Excited to see what you can do with this.
  8. These are the files that I created. By no means do you have to get my files though. Small fee. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/other/jedi-fallen-order-biker-scout The ROTJ Scout armor files are free. Just PM me if you need those.
  9. Looking good. I'll be watching this thread with interest. It makes me happy to see more JFO Scouts starting to appear.
  10. I think the problem is that the link you have posted is a run on link all in one line instead of separate links for each photo.
  11. Here's the TPU straps. They'll need a little bit of smoothing on the joining section but i think it'll work and nobody will notice it anyway. The easiest way to smooth TPU is with a flat tip on a soldering iron on a low temp. It'll smooth things out, normal sanding doesn't work.
  12. Here's what I can produce. Each strap will need to be 2 parts since I can't print 17" long in one go. This should have any overall effect on it though, I've glued TPU parts together and it's not a problem. You just use an adhesive with some flex, such as E-6000 or something similar. PM me and I can let you know what it'll cost to produce these. Just shipping and cost of materials.
  13. Thanks. That's still really easy to create. I'll work something up and see what everyone thinks.
  14. These are the straps originally created for my PT (didn't use them). I can modify the file to work for this.
  15. TPU is 3D printable rubber. Can you measure the length of the straps that you need and how many?
  16. That's what I was thinking. I think I still have the files for the PT straps which are probably the same or really similar.
  17. Thanks. We really take a lot of pride in this forum and Detachment as well as trying to give help wherever we can.
  18. A small amount of weathering can be allowed on the JFO Scout (See photo below), it doesn't need to be "clean" armor. As for the soft parts, everything is in the CRL but to summarize here. The flight suit is basically the same as the ROTJ Scout minus the suede parts and the thigh straps. You also won't need to worry about the mandarin collar or neck strap since the neck will be covered by the neck seal. There's no flak vest. The bund is a similar build to the ROTJ Scout but instead teh ribbing will cover the entire front half of the bund, starting under one arm and ending under the other. The codpiece is the same as the ROTJ Scout. There are no pouches. The neck seal is similar to a TK neck seal but preferably made from a cotton-like material. The boots are the same as the ROTJ Scout. The gloves are also different as you'll need to find a good way to adhere the detail parts to the glove. The only good way I found to do this was with velcro sewn to the gloves to attach the extra pieces. By doing this it's another piece of the armor that isn't interchangeable with the ROTJ Scout. Some other things to make sure that you remember is that the shoulders and biceps do not have elastic strapping and are affixed to the flight suit, most likely with velcro. The bicep is also missing the elastic slot that the ROTJ Scout has. The Tank Topper also has a different color scheme than the ROTJ Scout. Basically there are enough differences in the armor that it's not easy to have a set of armor that can be used for both the JFO Scout and the ROTJ Scout. Some parts are interchangeable but not all so you will likely have duplicates of some parts if you want to own both costumes.
  19. Still good to go. Should be clear but rain isn't going to stop Pathfinders.
  20. It might be fun to paint one of these black and covertly carry it next time we have a "Blast-a-Trooper" event, so when they start shooting, I can shoot back.
  21. We're having an in-person Armor Party in Orange County California on October 9th @ 11:00am - 4:00pm (ish). Anyone in the area is welcome to come and join us. There will be plenty of Pathfinders to help with building or questions. Any new or prospective recruits are invited to come see what it's like to be a Pathfinder. PM if you're interested and need the address. We recommend attendees be vaccinated. If you are unvaccinated you will need to wear a mask during the event. Thank you for your understanding.
  22. No worries, We'll still be here and have another event in a couple of months.
  23. Either will work. I think you'll need the Zoom app on your phone but not positive about it. Either way it's free.
  24. Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party Q3-B 2021 Saturday September 4th 9:00AM (PST) / 12:00PM (ET) / 4:00PM (UTC+1) Length: 2 hours (depending on interest and availability of staff) Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82643221505 Meeting ID: 826 4322 1505 (No Download Required) What a pity, you don't understand - Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring any questions you have about any of the Pathfinders costumes. If you're new to the detachment and this is your first costume build or if you're deep in the weeds with a plethora of costumes but feel "just one more couldn't hurt," come join in. We tried to set this one up with our Australian Pathfinders in mind. Next time we'll move around somewhere else on the planet for better reception. While the forum is a great source for just about anything you would like to know about Pathfinders costumes, it never hurts to have someone to talk to directly as well as being able to ask specific questions about your build while being able to see first hand the answers to those questions. Working on armor by yourself can be a daunting task, so let us help with some of that strain. Armorers and Command staff will be available to help you with your builds so come prepared with questions and be ready to work. Or if you just want to say hi to some of the folks you see posting on the forum all the time, now is your chance! If you are unable to attend due to timezone issues please let us know your interest. If there are enough people outside of the current timezone we can always schedule another Armor Party at a later date that will take this into account. Recorded Session:
