  1. dude, your left knee armor is upside down! I have to laugh at you. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Okay, I'm done. We'll get back to you shortly!
  2. Hi Andreas, We noticed that the seam on the back of your boots fold over in the same direction. They need to mirror each other. You will also need to add the additional cutouts to the soles.
  3. I would like to welcome the two newest members of the BSN staff, Lonescout and Witness! Lonescout is a proud owner of both a Biker Scout costume AND a Kashyyyk Trooper costume so his knowledge in both areas of BSN will be a welcome addition. It certainly helps that he can cross both lines and help new Kashyyyk Troopers and Biker Scouts alike! Witness is a proud member of the "artisan level" Biker Scouts; a Lancer! Over the past year, Witness has shown that he's a man on a mission - a mission to help out new members fulfill that lifelong dream of becoming a Biker Scout, and with attaining the status of Lancer, he's helping them become better Biker Scouts. Witness is not just joining the BSN staff as a new mod. He's also going to be joining BrotherHalo and bluecyclone as members of the Lancer Review Team! Witness will undoubtedly provide a scrutinizing eye to make sure all Lancer applicants truly represent that artisan quality and look like they just stepped off the silver screen!
  4. Dude, no prob. It'll be awesome to get some of the paint stuff sorted out. One of the big things that we'll be doing here, too, is getting all of the picture references for each part sorted out. We can't use LFL images, so we'll have to come up with our own, best versions of each, to use for reference. The GWLs need us to hold their hands in figuring out these costumes. Yes, I say that tongue in cheek, but for some, it's true. In fact, I'll probably need you to hold my hand with this; although I've gotten fairly familiar with the costume, I would consider you as one of the experts on the KT.
  5. LOL! You're funny, Matt. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=6273 We'll get a patch started, there's going to be a challenge coin as well, and then we'll see about shirts...
  6. This CRL is a work-in-progress. However, since there are a handful of KSTs in the Legion, I felt it necessary to get this up so there's something published for costumers and GMLs to reference. Please see the KST subforums for more information or to make recommendations. ARMOR * Chest plate. - 2 black straps connecting chest and back plates. * Back plate with tank. - Tank and back plate must be one piece - Tank must have top greeblie. * 2 shoulder bells * 2 bicep pieces - left bicep armor must have black strap and 2 boxes, one smaller than the other. - right bicep armor must have greeblies. * 2 forearm pieces with 2 straps for each piece of armor. * Cod piece. - Can be made of hard rubber urethane with a foam backing. * 2 pieces of knee armor - black straps for each piece of knee armor. * 2 complete shin armor pieces that are seamless. - 2 khaki or white belts on each shin - Black buckle and a smaller clip on each belt. * 2 pieces of boot armor - 4 black rings , 2 for each boot. 7. This forum is to have a running version of the CRL for the Kashyyyk Trooper costume. There's been discussion running for the past few days in the Detachment Leader forum on the Legion forums about the communication between DLs and GWLs. There seems to be some movement forward with publishing the CRLs finally, but in a new revised uniform format, including pictorial references. I'd like to keep this forum around as a constant work in progress if anything on the Kashyyyk Trooper costume needs updating, revisions, etc. Whenever any iteration is completed, we'll publish it to the live area here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=6231
  8. You're not going to have to wait long. Please check the interest thread for updated artwork!
  9. Hey Matt! Yes, that logo is official. I'm going to be doing a patch run sporting that logo after I make a few modifications (Angelo suggested more camo to the bucket). You guys will certainly be getting your KST swag this year!
  10. Yes. Please post pics of your changes...
  11. We'll be picking this back up shortly, Andreas!
  12. Looks great so far!
  13. Yup, you're right, Angelo. It's one of those stupid things I can't stand about IPB. But, there's a mod. JUST GOTTA FIND IT AGAIN.
  14. @mrbungle: I've been trying to locate the mod that shows secondary group "team icons" for IPB2. I've got it running on the MG forums, but we're running IPB3. As soon as I can find that mod and install it, I'll be getting that set up for you!
  15. Any progress on this?
  16. As of Friday evening, the Kashyyyk "Scout" Trooper is an officially recognized costume for inclusion into the 501st Legion Pathfinder Detachment. Army Scout (Chris Romines), in cooperation with the 501st Clonetroopers Detachment, created a home at BikerScout.net for the Episode III "BARC Trooper" - an inaccurately named costume. After 2 years of development, the first Kashyyyk Trooper costumes were accepted into the Legion and recognized as Clone costumes. This all changed Friday evening when Pathfinder Detachment Leader Bob "BrotherHalo" Tyrrell worked to get approval from Legion Membership Officer, Thomas Spanos, and had Legion Membership Database Droid, Darren Blum, make the appropriate changes to acknowledge the Kashyyyk Trooper as a costume in the Pathfinder Detachment. Currently designated CB: Kashyyyk Trooper, the Kashyyyk Trooper is a Pathfinder at heart and we welcome all Kashyyyk Troopers into the Pathfinder family!
  17. I got your pics, steven!
  18. As noted in the sticky note, all Lancer apps are on hold until after elections. We'll get back to you as soon as possible, Andreas. Thank you for your patience!
  19. Hey troopers! Just thought I would let you know that I've posted the KST CRL here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=6231 It is most definitely a work in progress. Mr.Bungle should be able to modify it as work progresses, but you all have done an outstanding job fleshing this costume out. Big round of applause to all of you! Now if I could just get the Legion Membership team recognize this costume as part of the detachment, all would be well in the world!
  20. I just wanted to inform everyone that is currently waiting for approval on their application and for those of you just about to post your app that we are going to temporarily put all applications on hold during the election period. Currently, there are questions about some of the standards for the Lancer and I'm sure these requirements will be reviewed thoroughly once the election process is over. All of the candidates need the time to be able to focus on the election process. All Lancer reviews will resume following this period. If you have any questions, please let us know. We appreciate your patience!
  21. If you have pics, you can email them to me and I'll get them posted up. I'm sending you a PM!
  22. Greetings fellow Pathfinders! As you may know, it's Legion elections time again! If you are an official 501st member, please make sure your profile is up to date on the Legion forums so you can participate in the elections. In the membership DB, there's the option to request Detachment membership - do that or I won't know to get your name added to the official roster. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL GET YOUR VOICE HEARD DURING THE ELECTIONS! If you have any problems with your profile on the Legion site and forums, please contact your GML as soon as possible! The nominations for all positions (Legion CO, Garrison CO, Squad Leaders, and Detachment Leaders) last 1 week, followed by a short Q&A period, ending with the actual voting period. Get out and vote!
  23. Hey radar, you still having problems with this? We'd like to review your latest pics.
  24. Hey Alex, Don't think we forgot about you... Since the Lancer costume is supposed to look like the cream of the crop, we want to make sure you fit right up there. My recommendations at this point: 1. Fishhook. Completely remove the old fishhook you have on your bucket right now. The lines are just not clean enough. There are a few members here who sell decals that would make this so easy for you. 2. Blaster. I'm not sure, but it appears to me that the hilt on your blaster is too long. It looks like you can fit all 4 fingers through the guard. At best, you should only be able to fit 3 fingers in. 3. Pouches. Can I see a full-on front shot of you in costume? All other front shots seem to be either sideways or 3/4 turn so I can't see proper placement of your soft gear. Thanks!
  25. Sweet. Looking good, guys!
