Ditto on that. But from what I can recall, the chest armor for the BARC is REALLY small compared to the scout. It seems to end just under the pectoral area of the torso. On some pics, it seems really bulky and round, while on other shots (like Gree and BARC coming up behind Yoda) it seems really tight and fitted to the trooper.

I say those boxes are hard. Or perhaps possibly hard-lined. Fabric outer, rigid box shape inside. Something similar to the scout pouch, but to the extreme of lining it.

We all are! The Legion's first BARC? Bah! Not to knock what the guy did, but the stuff we're researching here is gonna knock some socks off!

FYI, here's the details on how I captured those screen shots in the gallery: My laptop resolution is at 1600x1200. That's what I had the display at when playing the movie and taking the screens. I didn't resize the video window - it played at the native resolution. I *could* have made it bigger and captured it that way, but there'd be some artifacting and all that...

I'm looking forward to the final shots. It'll probably be the determining factor for me!

I think you did a great job. Especially for someone's first attempt at this. I have a couple of nitpicks, but nothing that would keep me away from wanting one of these helmets. I do wear a DP for chrissakes! So, I know this is just a display version, but when can we see it covering your noggin' for reference on size?

I second madphisto. Looks like an alternate material inseam, like the suede on the scout. Leather would be alright. Vinyl, to keep it cheaper. Personal preference for whichever you decide!

You know what sucks? There's just so many camo patterns that are close. Can't we get someone who knows someone who knows someone who worked on the BARC scout to tell us what they used? Or should we just come up with a list of accepted camo patterns to use?

Yes, you are right. Hasbro went with the Clone Scout with the BARC Speeder and the name stuc. So for simplicity, we're just sticking with BARC trooper. But you are correct, the "BARC" troopers are 41st Elite assigned to Commander Gree under Yoda. The Clone Scouts did NOT even ride the bike. *sigh* But the general public won't know that. Just us anal-retentive costumers.
