The top edge of the bund should sit at your chest pectorals. The closure is right over left so keep that in mind when your sewing. The closure should sit at the middle of your back. It's always good to mock up a bit before you sew to get the spacing right. Keep up the great work and we're here should you need us.

I would have to agree with the team on this one. The only time I have doffed my bucket was to work the table with the approval of my GCO and I did wear a black officers cap. What Mickey says about "illusion" is very important which is why troopers won't take their buckets off until they're out of public view. The DSG is not the strictest Garrison but anything affecting the CRL needs our GML/GCO approval before we exercise doing anything like that.

Yes. You'll want that strapping to be the same color as your drop box straps. That way you will look much more cohesive.

Hi Alexandra! We certainly understand that it can be frustrating going back and forth but hang in there because you're so close to the finish line. If you and your Garrison mate can meet again you can dress and have them get your armor all straightened out and get more pics. Keep your GML in the loop about how you're addressing the changes and that you are working closely with the detachment staff on making sure everything is up to snuff. While they're the ones that make the approval call I know that when I was a GML hearing that an applicant was working with a det made me a lot more comfortable when it came to final approval. You're doing great so relax, take a deep breath and we're here if you need us.

It's going to be an iterative process with trim/fit, trim/fit steps. This is a good first pass on your outline and trimming. Keep up the great work!

I would take a little more off the sides and the top to get it closer to the picture Mickey posted earlier. Just take it in small steps. Material is easy to remove but hard to put back😉

That there tank seems to need a bit of trimming to the contour of the back armor. Take a look at the build video for that section. Note the cutout on the bottom and thee notches to fit around the raised area at the lower part of the armor. I believe that the tank can be recovered.

That's normal to see and even the movie helmets weren't perfect. It's the visor and it does look like you'll need a bit of trimming, on the red side, to get it to sit right. Take it in small increments trim, check, trim, check, etc. You can use the Scoutopedia, found in the BIker Scout HQ thread, as a reference. I linked on of the helmet pics below.

I padded my knees because I have a tendency to kneel down so the kids can get close and it makes it a bit more comfortable for me. Typically the strapping keeps the knees from moving about much when walking so I've never had a problem there.

We're all a bit nit picky so you're in good company😁 I would like to caution you on the use of the Kenner blaster though. Those are very oversized when compared to the standard pistols so if you plan on replacing it down the line with something more accurate you might want to keep that in mind.
