  1. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Joe "Omaha Joe" Connolley (TB-92576) to the illustrious ranks of the Lancer scouts! Great job, @Omaha Joe!! Please post a picture of your coolest pose in this thread for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. If not, I will take a pic from your application. Check out TB-92576's application here:
  2. Not too bad so far. The hip boxes need some work. Yours are hanging down very low and they need to be just under the belt: Also, we shouldn't be seeing an excess strap around the buckle loops. In the film the buckles were not functional. The strap simply passed behind them so there was no excess strap showing. Refer to the above photo. Boots look a little baggy but not too bad. Overall you've done a good job, but the dropboxes need some care.
  3. Give our CRL Walkthrough Video a watch if you haven't already. It might help you make sense of everything.
  4. In May 2020 I was asked by the Legion to do a video walkthrough of the ROTJ Biker Scout CRL. Hope this helps clarify things!
  5. Different direction as they are going with a different design because the one they started with is not approvable.
  6. That is amazing my dude! @heartstopper85 check this bad boy out!
  7. @MrPoopie and I spent a big chunk of yesterday working with 850 on their models. They are going in a different direction with the helmet because it would not be approvable with that odd ridge going around the eyes.
  8. Thanks, I started editing them! I will try to get them uploaded by tomorrow.
  9. You could probably do a screen share! But yeah, live chat like a Zoom meeting. The last one was a lot of fun and you get to talk to some of these screen names you see around the forum (like me!)
  10. Hey @Gertjan Kool! The CRL is coming along well and I've inserted all the photos you gave me. I realized that I will need a photo to replace this one: https://origin-wiki.501st.com/databank/File:ST_GAbSide-LG.jpg Thanks!
  11. Officer CRL is already done! https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:ShoretrooperOfficerBF2
  12. I have begun entering in the CRL text into the Wiki, as well as the new photos. Give me a few days to get it wrapped up!
  13. I am pretty happy with this strap arrangement now. If you are good with it @ScaryGuy then I am going to proceed with it. @Gertjan Kool -- the ammo strap is curling up on your left hand side where it inserts into the buckle. I had that same problem with mine too and I flattened it out with some heat. Not a big deal, just a little bit of polish for your costume!
  14. Okay couple of things: 1) If you look in the draft CRL I wrote, I had the greeblie down as silver. I think that's what we should go with even though the game designers didn't bother to model it. 2) I was concerned about the criss cross before it was even attempted. And it is a little janky in Getjan's photo. But I do think it looks better in the second. I'm willing to give it another chance before getting rid of the straps all together. I'm just concerned that without the straps, the pouches will be extremely heavy and awkward. Something that the knucklehead 3D designers didn't take into an account and is exactly why we don't treat video game designs as sacrosanct. But great progress has been made and I am looking forward to getting this one done!
  15. Probably because nobody brought them up at the time the CRL was written? We don't watch the episodes and then crack open the CRL to make changes in real time. If people really want things in the canon sources added, we add them. Then we go through the process of: 1. Obtaining clear photos 2. Writing new descriptions in the CRL 3. Getting the new descriptions cleared with the LMO 4. Updating the CRL to all the servers. This is not an instantaneous process. Thanks for showing your interest. I'll work on it along with the other CRLs I am working on as we speak.
  16. Looks like it's at least coming down the front side here: Gino told us a lot of these tank tops were done differently --- maybe so they knew which tank belonged to which costume? This one has a red square (looks like tape to me!) that others don't have.
  17. Further on this, I don't think it was the game designer's intention to make the U symbol for the Specialist different than the one for the Squad Leader. I think that was just happenstance of translating the live action character to a video game.
  18. No. That helmet has cut outs that would need to be filled and replaced with decals, something that's been cropping up a lot in 3D models these days. We appreciate the nod toward realism, but as we do movie-accurate costumes, we adhere to the way they were done on screen. From the CRL:
