It looks really good man! To be honest, I like the dropboxes up higher. The screen scouts wore theirs really close to the belt. I'm going to raise mine up a bit when I get a chance.

Other than the balaclava and the neck closure (is it there or did you forget to close it up) you should get basic clearance no problem. Lancer on the other hand..... need a few more touches!

I run into a lot of people on troops that have thought about doing the scout but was hesitant because of the whole "big head" thing that many of us suffer from. When they try on the KS, the reaction has always been positive.

My personal opinion, and this gets into the raging bund/cod debate -- but the bund should be shorter and the cod taller and wider But for what it is, it looks good, man!

Hey new guy! 1 and 2) We use 1/8 inch rivets on all the scout parts. 3) You're gonna have to eyeball that. Get your copy of Return of the Jedi out! 4) That depends on the way your tank is built. I had to push mine back a little bit more so I could get one rivet through the topper and the back of the armor. But other folks are able to let it sit a little more forward. Again, use the movie as a guide 5) Yup 6) Again, screenshots are your friend. I have mine connected on the outer edges of the velcro Hope this helps.

You can see my chin cup a little bit when I'm wearing my KS, but it's not much different than what you see on screen in ROTJ

The KS is too small? That's usually the go-to for bigger heads. Maybe adjust the foam inside of it?

I have an ABS helmet and it is really light for trooping. I have friends who troop in MLCs (also fiberglass) that have mentioned they feel heavy after awhile. And ABS is what the screen scouts wore. The RS Props scout helmet is ABS if you're looking for one that is made from the originals.

A lot of us use duck cloth, but I agree with Chef -- sometimes the bund has a sheen to it.

Yes definitely. One of the reasons why I wanted to change out KS's foam was that it was making the helmet sit too far above my shoulders. I have a long enough neck as it is. You'll want to try it on and see how it looks when you are suited up
