  1. Greetings! If you already have a TK-ID, please submit for 501st Access here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showforum=82 Welcome to bs.n!
  2. Okay buddy, here you go: 1) As I said in my PM, you need the TD clips. Sorry we missed that the first time. 2) Your vest sleeves are flaring a bit. Either loosen your shoulder bell straps or run a new seam line. I did the latter with my own vest. 3) Pull your belt up about an inch so it meets the bottom of your pouches. Also, it looks like your vest has a left over right closure. We're not going to ding you for that, because we haven't specifically listed it, but it's something you may want to change in the future. Switching the side that velcros should do the trick. Looking good, scout!
  3. AGHHHHH! NO!!! BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!!! Yeah not that one.
  4. Well the issue is that there are enough screenshots in the film NOT showing a chin cup on a scout that it doesn't make sense to make it a requirement. But there's nothing wrong with having one. I have one and I like that it helps keep the the lid balance on my big head
  5. Chin cup isn't necessary for Lancer so don't worry about it!
  6. You're in the first wave! And you're in the first wave! And you're in the first wave! Everybody's in the first wave!
  7. I got that same email today
  8. Chef is the Pathfinders' resident Armorer. You can send him a PM here. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=2796
  9. I would avoid the KS soft parts. They seem to suffer the same elephantiasis as the armor. The KriptonTop stuff seems to be Cucblack -- he makes great stuff, I have his vest, but there have been issues with orders taking an extraordinarily long time to arrive. FAC aka MC -- they make quality stuff but wait times can be months. You'd probably be better off just buying a Redkap suit off Amazon for $25 and modding it yourself. My man Gabe here in Los Angeles makes soft parts. Give him a look too: https://www.facebook.com/Maxs-Sci-fi-Creation-Shop-1651285501763603/
  10. Pretty good! The sole is one color so you won't have to worry about that and the tread on the bottom will make it easy to cut the boots if you want to go Lancer: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?app=gallery&image=354
  11. Hey David, welcome to bs.n! Like Jonas said, read everything, ask lots of questions. There is no need for you to go it alone, we are here to help If I were you, I'd hit this section of the forum and read, read, read. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showforum=3
  12. I already PMed you about the TD clips.... the rest of the review staff will be reviewing your new pics. Thanks for the quick turnaround!
  13. Here's the clips I used for my Lancer build: http://www.theclip.com/store/Metal-belt-clip-661-Tempered-Belt-Clip.html
  14. The bicep armor is more of a positioning thing when taking the photos. We know they tend to slip and turn around. We just like them up on your biceps (right below the vest sleeve) and turned more forward, with the two discs on the greeblies facing forward.
  15. Thank you for your application! We will review and get back to you
  16. My magnet is on the bracket inside the boot that helps the boot hold its shape. I glued the rare earth magnet on it with E6000. Then my blaster has another magnet in the handle under the little button thing
  17. Just the changes. But in the case of your changes it looks like you will need to suit up, as we need to check pouch placement, drop box height, bicep armor placement and the direction of your vest and bund closures. And for that you need to be wearing the gear. Good luck!
  18. Yes we know and understand. A lot of this is just hard to express in bright line terms and can really vary from Scout to Scout based on their height, weight, etc. However we will be working on the Lancer CRL this year to make it as clear as possible. I always feel that the best guide is the film. When in doubt, watch the movie!
  19. Nice work with your build. Here are your Lancer review notes: 1) Biggest issue here seems to be the shape of your pouches. They are too rectangular. Pouches are higher than they are wide, but yours seem to be about an inch too high. 2) Your right vest sleeve seems longer than the left. Could be the photo but that's the way it's coming out 3) Bicep armor should be brought up to meet the bottom of the vest sleeves are turned a bit more forward. This is bicep armor after all, not elbow armor! 4) The scope on your blaster seems a bit too forward. The turret section should meet the mount. See the link below. And this isn't necessarily an app killer, but your suit legs seem like they were brought in a lot. The scout undersuit shouldn't be quite as form fitting as the Stormtrooper bodysuit. Normally we have to tell people to tailor their legs to make them less baggy, but yours seems to have gone to the other extreme. Not sure if there's anything you can do to fix that at this point. But overall, very well done Below is a link to a pic of a screen-used blaster: http://forum.bikersc...showtopic=14925
  20. Hey buddy, here are your review notes: 1) Your shoulder joins need to be tightened. You can see the gap underneath the joins. I'd bring the two plastic pieces right up against each other (or even overlapping a bit) and then put the shoulder bridges overtop 2) Pouches need to be even. Just line them up with the last rib on each side of your bund 3) Bund and vest closures need to be right-to-left. Your bund at least is left-to-right, so just flip it over. 4) Your dropboxes should be brought up about an inch and evened out. 5) Turn your bicep armor forward on your next round of pics and make sure the two discs on the greeblie are facing forward on each arm. Nice work, scout, just a few things!
  21. Okay buddy, here we go: 1) Vest sleeves need to be padded; the stitches are there, but there seems to be no padding. 2) You've got one extra rib in your bund. Should only have 5 3) Make sure your knee rivets are painted white 4) The visible TD clips are now required. See photo below 5) Are your bicep armor straps 2 inches? They should be 1.5 6) Your dropboxes should be brought up a bit and evened out. 7) Your codpiece is camel toeing -- I'd put some foam inside of it to stop that from happening. Or loosen the strap in the back. 8) You've got some loose threads on your left shoulder bridge that need removing 9) You've got some glue marks around your riding patch that could stand to be removed 10) Your TD end caps look really thin. I assume those aren't the ones that came with your kit? 11) Photos we need: a. Clear shot of vest neckline b. Scout blaster c. The belt, particularly the joins d. We need a better shot of the back of your boots. Make sure you put them on nice and even before taking pics. Best of luck! TD clip photo:
  22. Alright buddy, here we go: 1) Move your pouches out a touch so we can see all 5 ribs on the bund 2) Your bund's rear closure doesn't seem to be centered, or else it is off in the photo. So your bund strap is also pulling off to the side. 3) Bring your dropboxes down maybe an inch. 4) The thigh straps are a bit high and loose. See the pic below for a model 5) Vest and bund closures need to be right-over-left. 6) Bring up your bicep armor and turn it forward for your next round of photos. Remember, it's bicep armor not elbow armor! Also make sure that the two circles on the greeblies are facing forward 7) Close your helmet all the way when taking your next round of pics 8) The bund is dropping below the belt on your back photo. Maybe it's a touch too long? 9) Make sure we get good pics of the bicep greeblies, the belt joins and your blaster 10) Can you get the front of your boot soles cut as well? 11) Your pants legs seem a bit baggy. Do they need to be brought in a bit? Or maybe stirrups on your pants cuffs would help pull them down into your boots? I know, it seems like a lot, but it's the little details that make the difference. Reference photo below:
  23. Yup. You need a vest no matter what. But they are not too hard to get. My boy Gabe makes them right here in the good ol' US of A: https://www.facebook.com/Maxs-Sci-fi-Creation-Shop-1651285501763603/?fref=ts
  24. Thanks for the application, we will review it soon!
  25. Well....yeah.
