  1. I was able to rivet the top and bottom of my SC just fine, but I also used E6000 just in case
  2. I have stuff from Cucblack and I will stand by the statement that he makes quality props. The issue has been the shipping service he's used in the past. Hopefully he has remedied this and he will come back here and make amends with the folks that have outstanding orders with him.
  3. Hot glue is definitely not the strongest hold, but it's probably one of the easiest to re-do if something gets messed up. It's easy to scrape off the residue and start over again if something disastrous happens like your lens breaking.....
  4. Hot glue works!
  5. I love it! Added to the roster
  6. YES! Is it a Facebook group? Make sure to add me and Chex
  7. tabs up

  10. Hey Scouts! It's with great pleasure I welcome Sandy "Republic_Trooper" Burbano, TB-55118, to the Lancers! Thank you for your hard work and good attitude, Sandy. Please get a picture off to Cheyenne so she can add you to the Lancer wall!
  11. Welcome to BS.net! I'd say negative on the KS armor. KS bucket, fine. But go SC for armor.
  12. Dude Sea Garrison ART added! Welcome to the program
  13. And the hits just keep on coming Scouts! Please join me in welcoming Brian "Shada" TB-27138 to the ranks of the Lancers! Good job, Brian. Thanks for your patience and good attitude. Be sure to get a pic to Cheyenne to add to the Lancer Wall!
  14. Awesome buddy! Looking forward to it.
  15. Congratulations, Q!
  16. Hey Q! A question has come up about the butt patch. Would it be possible for you suit up and give us a picture of the back with some better visibility of the suede patches? Maybe getting a photo in the sunlight would help. Thanks
  17. If you think that your pouches are going to be too small then they are probably the right size. The majority of folks out there have pouches that are way too big. Even mine are too big I just haven't gotten around to replacing them yet. The pouches should fit in the gap between the bottom of your armor and the top of your belt -- WHEN THE BELT IS WORN ACROSS YOUR WAIST -- not down on the hips as is the fashion these days. A minimum of overhang is fine. Look at some actual movie scouts and you'll see what I mean: The pouches just aren't all that big.
  18. Okay buddy, here goes: 1) Your vest sleeves seem maybe a touch baggy. And is the left sleeve hanging lower than the right? 2) Your rivet washers need to be INSIDE the boot. Also, the holster is too far down. It should be closer to the top of the boot. 3) Your codpiece is crumpling. You need to lengthen the strap and maybe put some foam or something inside of it to stop that from happening. We don't go for the diaper look when it comes to Lancer! 4) Your chest straps need to be the same as your dropbox straps -- cotton and 1.5 inches. 5) I know you are using the velcro to hold your blaster in place but for Lancer the blaster needs to look movie accurate. Maybe try a magnet in the handle instead. 6) Just makes sure arm armor is turned forward and work closer together in your next round of shots. Shoulders should be evenly balanced; bicep armor should be on your bicep, not your elbow; and forearm armor should start right below the bicep and not run so far down the glove. Good build, man! Just a few nits
  19. Hey Sandy! Just some nits: 1) Helmet bolts - switch them out for 3M replicas. Your buddy Kevin has some 2) The cod piece is a bit narrow at the top. And the curve looks dangerously close to a chevron. I can see where it's still rounded but you may want to adjust it to be closer to the Costumes book 3) The vest neckline should be a half moon. or at least straight across. 4) Make sure the forearm stays closer to the the bicep and doesnt slide too far down the glove. Here are some extra credit things that haven't been put into the specs yet but will be soon: a. Boot soles cut on the front b. Scope on the blaster is too far forward, the turrets should butt up to the ring. This is an issue with Hyperfirm blasters generally speaking
  20. That's so beautiful I'm going to cry
  21. that guy was wearing special rubber armor because he was about to get flipped by Harrison Ford. They seemed to not have dressed him as carefully as the regular scouts
  22. Here's another one to add to your bucket:
  23. Yeah! Cool Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
  24. Good job with your build man! Universal acclaim from everyone on staff. There's just an issue with your visor bolts not being the right size. Are those the 3M replacement bolts? Or coach bolts? They seem slightly too big.
  25. Oh definitely! Huge improvement and a needed move in the right direction. The current "Lancer" pattern really only runs down the inside of the thigh and doesn't extend high enough or out far enough on the thigh.
