That looks great! We are hung up on one thing... your codpiece seems to be a little crooked where it meets the strap. Is there anyway you can fix that to straighten it out? Thanks! -
Advance Recon Team (ART) discussion

Great! Let me know when you do -
Welcome James! I'm in the Southern California Garrison, which is what you will be a part of when your scout is approved. Please join our local Advance Recon Team, Scout Team Six, which can introduce you to local scouts and get your localized support. Just search for "Scout Team Six" on Facebook and request to join the group! And welcome to bs.n! Avail yourself of all the knowledge here

The problem is that the tube wasn't a tube at all in the film. It was some sort of rod with a telephone-like wire wrapped around it. So the accordion tubes that we use are just approximations. My SC tube is about 11 inches long and about 2 inches in diameter, if that helps.
-
Did you try just ordering the tube from SC?

They did change their snout. It's a lot more accurate than the one I got from them 2 years ago. It's nowhere near DVH quality but it's a huge improvement

BikerScout007's RS Props Helmet
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Well I couldn't deal with the hard hat liner anymore so I took it out and replaced it with these helmet pads: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P1G9U2W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My first test of the new setup was a 4 hours troop in very hot Los Angeles weather. It was great. Didn't bobble around and was so comfortable I forgot I was wearing the bucket. Could have gone another 3 hours. Of course I would have passed out from the heat long before that! Here's how I arrayed it inside of the RS Props lid: -

Looks good! Would you mind suiting up so we can see it all together? And make sure that vest isnt bunching up in the shoulders? Get that arm armor turned a bit more forward too Thanks! -
Scout Team Six is the Advance Recon Team for the Southern California Garrison. Just localized help for Scouts in the same Garrison. There are several ARTs already, but none in either of your areas. But that's okay, because you can get all the help you need right here on bs.n!

I don't see why anyone would fight us for it! But yeah, I haven't seen anything except for the blurry sneak preview shots....

That is all due to you, man. Good job. And I'm pleased to see the zipties make their debut in a Lancer app. They aren't a requirement but that extra bit of accuracy is always appreciated. We'll keep an eye out for your new pics -

Hey Brian, This is a really great application! Just a few minor things: 1) I like the zipties a lot, but your shoulder bells are sitting a little far from the shoulder bridges and they aren't even. You may want to use a shorter ziptie to get them closer like this: The zipties should connect directly to the shoulder bridge, if possible. 2) Your vest seems to be bunching up on the right shoulder 3) Your bicep and forearm armor need to be turned forward slightly 4) This isn't an app killer, but your bund closure seems a little off-center.... is it maybe just a bit twisted? 5) Finally the blaster. Is it 3-D printed? It looks a bit rough. You might want to paint some XTC-3D to clean it up. Nice work! -
Yup that's my general feeling too
-
Maybe.... that depends if we decide to add a "Rebels" Scout to the Detachment
-
They're not canon because there is no on-screen occurrence of it. That's really all it comes down to. That could change in the future if Disney puts Biker Scouts in a movie again, but looks like Rogue One isn't going to be it.

Definitely buy a size up on WW. I bought L and they are tight.
