  1. Hey man.... You're gonna kill us but we gotta do it: We like the fixes that you made, but your final pics are a little on the sloppy side. We need a pic of you suited up with your armor turned forward (your shoulders seem to be tilting backward, bicep t-bits should be turned toward your front), dropboxes are hanging uneven, at least in the rear photo, and your pouches are not lined up with the outer ribs. Things are looking good, we just need one last neat pic. Get someone to help you make sure it's all lined up if you can!
  2. Mist it with black spray paint. Thats how it was done in the film. Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
  3. As long as you can cover up all the parts that don't match the film scout boots, you should be okay
  4. You wouldn't pass basic with that. Just submit your scout according to the current standards and either make a separate shoulder bell or buy a removable band for it. Of course it would be up to your local Garrison when you could wear it.
  5. Hey buddy, all your changes are looking good! We would just like it if you could give us another shot with everything on and nicely evened out. Thanks for your patience!
  6. It is my pleasure to welcome Chase Gray, TB-71784 "BlitzJaeger" to the esteemed ranks of the Lancers! Be sure to get Cheyenne a photo so she can add it to the Lancer Wall Congratulations and Happy Birthday, dude!
  7. Thanks for your application! We will review and get back to you!
  8. Reach out to BS.n member Chef and you should be on your way Welcome to bs.n!
  9. No Just a willingness to mentor new prospects. The purpose of the ART is to grow the number of scouts in your garrison, not to provide a social outlet for current scouts (although that is fine too). So if one eager scout wants to start an ART to get more garrisonmates to become Scouts, that's exactly what we are looking for!
  10. Here is a pic from the Costumes book. You can see the pattern of the leather pretty well here:
  11. We have a riding patch pattern but it's not very accurate to the original costume. Honestly the best match I've seen to it would be the Sabine character from "Rebels". The areas indicated by "462" show how it should look http://a.dilcdn.com/...tone_Sabine.jpg
  12. Just a view of the "gap". My original side view shots were taken with the helmet resting on a table, so it wasn't closed all the way. Here it is on the stand: And compare with the screen scout:
  13. Yes coloring the suede is necessary. Those look like original Esprits though! Don't let them out of your sight!
  14. We are not putting RS on the problem vendors list as they are not vendors here on bs.n Also, I have an RS props and I am quite happy with it, a few minor details aside. It is also my sole trooping helmet http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15122
  15. 1) Here are the clips you need: http://www.theclip.com/store/Metal-belt-clip-661-Tempered-Belt-Clip.html You can see here where they go on the tubes: 2) I glued my tank to my back plate with E6000, and used one rivet at the top and bottom of the tank to hold it in place. But if yours already has a tank on it..... not sure what you're describing. Got pics?
  16. Alright buddy, here goes: 1) The codpiece is not working for you. You need something more proportionate to your body. Also the arc needs to start where the final taper begins, like this: 2) Side straps should 1.5 inch cotton webbing. Yes I know it says a million different things but they should be the same as your dropbox straps 3) Your suede thigh pattern is not symmetrical. The left leg one is shorter than the right 4) Dropboxes could stand to be a little closer to the belt. 5) The dogbones need to be glued down. They seem to be sticking up in the centers 6) Shoulder bells should sit closer to the shoulder bridges on your chest armor. You may need to shorten the zipties. And make sure they are connected well. It looks like the ziptie is not connected to shoulder tab as well as it could be. This could also be because the shoulder bell is sitting too far down. I know seems like a lot but you actually did a really great job with this.
  17. There's a mistake in film making known as "crossing the line". There's basically a 180 degree angle in which action on screen takes place, and you can't go past this arc (cross the line) without doing a new establishing shot so the audience doesn't get confused. In the case where shots "cross the line", they often just flip them over real quick so the audience doesn't get disoriented.
  18. Just to make it even more difficult for you, I like the middle one. It's a good blend of the other two and seems the right size.
