  1. Looks like you are good to go for Basic! If you are interested in Lancer there are a few things to tidy up but you are well on your way!
  2. What took me the longest was dying the gloves. Especially since the palms and fingers were so faded. Removing the zippers and straps was pretty easy but I took my time with the Exacto knife. It's not like I could just grab another pair if something went wrong!
  3. Okay made the mods! Couldn't wait to dig into them. Here are the befores: As you can see the gloves are pretty beat up and faded. So the first thing I did was hit them with some Fiebing's Leather Color in black to color the suede and polish up the faded parts. After that, I took an Exacto knife and CAREFULLY removed the zippers and straps. Ready to troop!
  4. Quoting the CRL for Lancer: "Thermal Detonator end caps to be concave and not flat." The SC ones are flat so they need to be heated and have indents put in them
  5. Sounds like a good problem to have hahaha. But i will keep my eyes out for 13s! Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
  6. Here's 3 members that do that off the top of my head! http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=75917 http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=80932 http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=78307
  7. Make sure you hit the trade forum. All kinds of goodies to be found there
  8. That is solid parenting!
  9. You find some 12s let me know!
  10. The search continues! The problem is my size 12 foot limits my choices a great deal. I went through this finding the proper Indiana Jones boots. It seems like everyone in the world is a size 10!
  11. And yes, I agree WW looks really good! I think if they really wanted to step it up they could make the false zipper area look more like there was a zipper there at one time, but overall very good!
  12. These things are pretty shabby so I am going to mod away!
  13. Bought off of eBay last week. They are rough but that's okay, Scouts aren't supposed to be polished. EDIT: I lost access to the original photos due to photobucketpocalypse. Here's a collage I made showing how I restored and modded the gloves for trooping!
  14. The most popular kits do not. The only reason you might want to where there is a mismatch between the armor color and the helmet color.
  15. Cool, good luck with your build. And if you want to reach out to local Pathfinders for build tips, please request to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/1491559237815157/
  16. Yup that works. I suppose you could just paint the black parts that show but that seems like it would be more time consuming
  17. The cod strap should definitely be loose enough that you can walk! I made mine adjustable
  18. The SC will fit most people. Fit isn't really the issue. The issue is will it look right on you? The Scout helmet is a big helmet relative to the wearer's body and the SC makes you look like you have a shrunken head if you aren't small enough Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
  19. KS makes a larger bucket that you can build yourself. All the little add ons (snout, decals, bolts) need to be swapped out for more accurate ones, but it's a good bucket for trooping
  20. Those should be fine, as long as the sole is all one color.
  21. Woot! Welcome to the Pathfinders!
  22. Looks good! 1) Shift your codpiece up so it's not going so far between your legs and getting all crumpled up. You want it to look like this: 2) Are your boot soles white? They should be tan
  23. Welcome to the Pathfinders!!
  24. Welcome back to the Pathfinders!
