Hot glue on the sides only. Use a lot and make sure it is HOT before you apply it. If you are really having trouble, you can try E6000. Just make sure you are in a very ventilated spot before you apply it and give it at least a day to cure.

For instance, check out how long my dude's side straps are:

1.5 inches sounds pretty good to me. I'd go with that. but like Pete said, try it on with the vest. And don't worry about how long you go with the side straps. They can be as wide as they need to be.

I would go much wider on the side straps and bring that Chest armor up. It doesn't need to sit as low as it does. Bottom of the armor should come down to the bottom of the pectoral. Like I always say, the chest armor is more of a bra than something that actually covers the chest.

Pathfinders Command is proud to announce a new costume to the lineup: The Patrol Trooper, as seen in "Solo: A Star Wars Story." This CRL was the result of a lot of hard work with not a whole lot of references! As you know, the Patrol Trooper was in the film for all of 2.5 seconds -- what you saw in the trailer was pretty much it! Thanks to everyone who chipped in on the CRL thread, posting every photo they could possibly find, both from the film and from the Hot Toys Patrol Trooper. And of course huge thanks goes out to Denis Vorobiev, aka @Spiel who was the first to the finish line with his build and is our CRL model. We could not have done this without his help. I also want to give a huge shout out to Chris Reid, aka @Reideemer, our LMO representative who really helped us hone the CRL and get it ready for approval from the whole LMO team. We could not have done this without your guidance, Chris! Now, I did ask for "PT" for the designation, but it looks like the Legion assigned it "TB." In this case, it's not a huge stretch as there are massive similarities between the Scout and the Patrol Trooper. Hey Pathfinders and soon-to-be-Pathfinders! We have finally done it! The forum has been completely migrated to our new host and the domain name is now 501stpathfinders.com. I cannot thank @Drewid enough for the many, many hours he put into this. It was a gigantic tangled knot and somehow he managed to untangle it. Now things are not going to be perfect and there will be bugs here and there. Most obviously, any link referring to "bikerscout.net" will no longer work. At some point Drew is going to replace all that text with "501stpathfinders.com", but for now please bear with us as we fix all that needs fixing. Please contact command staff or our webmaster, @Shortstack if you spot anything glaring. Most importantly, we have full control over the forum and the domain now, so expect more good things in the future!
