Honestly we don't know for sure. We would need more specific photos of the costume and so far we have not gotten that level of detail. But for now, we are not writing a level 2 so the strap for level 1 is acceptable.

Main post has been edited, please give it a read through!

Looks so good!

Watching this build with great interest!

We call that the attachment tab. All pouches should have them and it should be about 2 inches in height. You just can't see it in that pic because of the angle. The attachment tab should abut the top of the cummerbund, and the bottom of the pouch should align with the bottom of the bund. So the pouch dimensions should be 6hx5wx2d with a 2 inch attachment tab The cummerbund should be between 8-9 inches in height, 10 if you want more material to tuck under your belt. In the movie the bund stopped at the top of the belt, although sometimes it slipped under depending on how the trooper was posed. This guy's belt is riding up a little bit:

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" is available on digital today. I'm sure like me, you will all be poring through each frame the Patrol Trooper is in to find more details!

On behalf of Pathfinders Command I would like to welcome Taylor "@Ruthar" Goodson (TB-12110) to the esteemed ranks of the Lancers! Great job on your build, Taylor. Please send a picture of your best Scout pose to @Shortstack for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame.

Because I am in Southern California I ordered the KW Designs kit. I know Kevin and he is close by. The kit also has a great reputation. But that is my personal opinion. Others may vary! -

Yes it is really nice. I'll be happy to replace the photo once I can find a pic of someone head to toe in MC gear -

That looks great! You did an excellent job with the improvements. -

Looks pretty good! The right side ab detail doesn't seem to be there though. Either that or it's too far foward.

Thanks, Tony. That's something we really tried to be cognizant of with these revisions

EDITED: Okay the new CRL language is up and can be found here: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Scout_trooper You will also notice that the CRLs have a new Gallery section, which contain even more photos for both the costume builder and the GML when considering applicants. This is something that all CRLs are going to have going forward (the Patrol Trooper was one of the first ones to require Gallery pics), so I'll have to get them set up for our other CRLs as well! Thanks for everyone's input on this. It has been invaluable in making this new draft.

Awesome! Looking forward to getting that new Scout armor!

It's not a requirement for basic or Lancer. You can do it for extra credit!

TB-6686 Lancer Deployment Request (Pending)
BikerScout007 replied to HyBRiD's topic in Lancer Deployment Request
Thanks for your application! We will get back to you soon! -
Sounds like you got the technique for the cummerbund down! The codpiece doesnt need to be attached to the cummerbund at all. Mine is sewn to the bottom of my flak vest, as was done with the screen used suits. Other people affix theirs to their undersuit with velcro.

Definitely on my shopping list! -
Well we haven't decided yet, but my feeling is we would lean the way the Imperial Officer Corps does and have them as plain as possible. No zippers or buckles. We would really need much better pics of the boots from the film to be totally sure though EDITED 1.28.2019: After taking a closer look at the Hot Toys figure, it looks like the boot posted at the top of this thread would be perfect for Level 2.

For Level 1 they are fine. When we get around to a Level 2 I doubt we will allow the rear zipper and the buckle at the top EDITED 1.28.2019: After taking a closer look at the Hot Toys figure, it looks like the boot posted at the top of this thread would be perfect for Level 2.

We allow Don Post helmets as long as they are modified to look like the screen used, and this looks pretty good other than the "fish hook". It look like it's silver and it should be a dark gray. Similar to the color of the bolts or the snout.
