  1. Hi Takashi! All volunteer sign up available can be found here: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=102123
  2. Its something we're looking at. Just like FISD banned FX armor because it was wildly off, there are a few scout armors that are falling short of the standards we are setting for Lancer. Especially given the better choices we have available to us today. With Walt's kit I'm not sure if it would be possible. If you can't wear your belt on your waist because the chest armor comes down too far, you don't meet level 2 standards. Fortunately I talked to Walt today and he is totally onboard with adjusting his chest piece to make it more screen accurate. Which means more choices for everyone.
  3. That looks great!
  4. I've reached out to Walt about adjusting the chest armor to make it more in proportion to the screen used. With so many armor makers getting closer and closer to screen accuracy, some armors are starting to stand out as being off. And while basic may be achievable with most kits, Level 2 is a different story.
  5. That really shouldn't be an issue. We have Scouts have all sizes. That chest armor is just too big, bottom line. And I don't mean big as in it would be better for a bigger person (it wouldn't be). It's out of proportion to how it should be measuring from top to bottom.
  6. Here's a comparison against the screen used. That chest armor is way too large. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  7. Your belt is sitting in the right place. It should be on your waist, which is where you have it. That chest armor is.....HUGE! Is that WTF?
  8. Here they are. So you only need to cut the square in the flip up visor. The helmet part is fine with a round hole. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  9. I'm looking around for pictures of the helmet I built for my son. It was a KS but I wanted to use the correct bolts so I had to use a blade to cut squares to fit them. Bolts worked fine afterward! When I find the pics I will post them
  10. Cut a square into your helmet. It will help hold it in place and keep it from spinning.
  11. We will try to squeeze in a photo with all Det members, costumes or not, sometime in our allotted slot. Time is going to be of the essence because there are shoots schedule immediately before and after us. Ideally we do a photo of all Pathfinders, buckets on and off. Then break down by costumes, buckets on and off. Maybe during the first photo we can get all the folks in racing shirts to kneel down in front of the costumed members.
  12. The photos were scheduled before the panels were announced. I got the earliest possible slot I could right after the main photos. I don't want people to have to stand around in costume all day waiting for our turn and I don't want people to have to suit up all over again and then have to get to a location for another shoot. It just makes sense for us to do the photo while we are all already in costume. If you want to go to the panel, you'll most likely not being doing photos anyway, since you'll be in line for the hall while the main Legion photo is being taken. It's unfortunate and I'm not thrilled they picked Friday instead of Saturday to do photos, but we have to do the best with the hand we've been dealt.
  13. Can't say I have. A lot of us use these because they are held in place by the visor bolts:
  14. I was in touch with those folks while drafting the CRL. They had only completed the front of the armor, as they had no good pics of the back at the time to finish the design. They (OCD props) then decided to go back to the drawing board and redesign the whole kit. I've seen lots of people on FB saying they are building the PT, but as of today, we still only have 2 approved in the whole Legion. Step on it, people! We can't expect Denis and Noel to be the only ones maintaining law and order on this planet!!
  15. I ran into the same problem -- my calves are a bit too big for my shin armor. So I just posted on Facebook "ANYBODY GOT EXTRA STRAPS" and fortunately somebody did. So you may want to give that approach a shot too
  16. Check out some of our parts vendors: Also....you have your shin armors reversed.
  17. The nylon webbing is attached to belt ends with one silver rivet on each side.
  18. We can't wait to welcome you to the ranks! @FIVE won't feel so lonely anymore.
  19. Yeah that's an unfortunate side effect of having all the photos scheduled for Friday. They had a no-win situation when trying to pick a time so someone was going to be unhappy.
  20. Yes please do. I'll be sporting my new Pathfinders baseball shirt
  21. How goes the progress on your Patrol Trooper?
  22. Looks like you got some Ewok fur on your jumpsuit! Looking great so far! Feel free to ask us for any help you need.
  23. I connected it on mine -- with a paint brush!
