  1. Yes you can use silver colored 1/8 rivets everywhere rivets are needed on this costume.
  2. There is not. And if we knew what it was we would put it in the CRL. Just do your best to match the placement as seen in the photos. It was definitely one of the scariest things I did on my first Scout build, but it was fine! Everything's going to be fine
  3. We're going through it right now as a matter of fact. This will go on the list. The latest Legion trend is to keep exact measurements to Level 2 requirements only, so it will most likely be there. But since most folks read the whole CRL, I'm sure they will go with 2 inches.
  4. Scouts helping scouts. I love it!
  5. There is some retooling going on with the 501st page and a couple of features are down. I will reach out to the LWMs and see if there's a timeline on that.
  6. Strapped it to the back armor with 1/2 inch elastic, like in the film
  7. Here's the bottom line when it comes to basic approval: if it has the appearance of being as described in the CRL, then you're good. That goes for the raglan sleeves and everything else. You're going to take your approval pics fully suited up, and the armor covers up a lot. So once suited up, your sleeves look correct, then you are good. Level 2, should you decide to do it, is a different beast because we ask to see each individual part. And if you make an awesome raglan sleeve vest and its better than the one in the CRL, maybe yours can become the new CRL model! Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  8. I've been meaning to change that "matte white" thing. It was polished cotton for the bund and codpiece. The pouches should be canvas.
  9. @Shortstack -- for the Hall of Fame
  10. Congrats Melody. You're being featured on our FB page today!
  11. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Melody "KOtrooper" (ST-38694) to the illustrious ranks of the Vanguard Shoretroopers! Great job, @KOtrooper!! Make sure you send a picture of your coolest pose to @Shortstack for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out her application here:
  12. Edited to include RS Props armor
  13. Not only is that a reliable source, but that is the ONLY source. And Denis (the owner) is not only a Pathfinder -- he is the CRL model. WTF is working on a kit but hasn't released it yet.
  14. They are close to the Hyatt where the taxi drop off is. They are next to the Arc Bar. I actually made a video yesterday and posted on our FB page
  15. The concourse stairs are outside. No need to go into the convention.
  16. Hey Pathfinders! Celebration 2019 kicks off tomorrow and @Shortstack, @Dart and I will all be attendance. So please say hi if you see us out and about! Because we are going to be out of town for a few days, be sure to direct your forum-related questions to @Stroker. Here are some details about Pathfinder events at SWCC: PATHFINDERS PHOTO: FRIDAY, 10AM ON THE CONCOURSE STAIRS Our photo will be in between the Clones and the Ladies of the Legions photos. It's supposed to be cold and cloudy, but no rain or snow! We will do as many photos as we can in our allotted slot. So Armor only (buckets on and off), all Pathfinders (armor and Pathfinder shirts), and by costume (Scouts, Shores, Kashyyyks, etc.). Please show up before 10 so we can get in and out quickly. We have folks that wish to attend the Episode IX panel at 11am. More information can be found here: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=102127 The heart indicates where the stairs for the photo are located. PATHFINDERS MEETUP: FRIDAY NIGHT SWAG TRADE Wear a Pathfinders shirt and mill about with your Detachment mates while enjoying all the swag and the three bars servicing the room! I will be there and I hope to meet as many of you as I can. 501ST LEGION PHOTO: SUNDAY April 14 at 9am. Unfortunately I won't be in town for this, but I expect you all to do your duty and represent the Pathfinders! Details can be found in the link above.
  17. For the photo you just need to show up
  18. It's still looks pretty rough at this point but I see it coming together pretty well. Definitely needs more trimming around the visor edging and lens hole. Keep at it, trooper!
  19. Personally, I'm not one to trade quality for savings. You always end up spending more in the end (or maybe I do). But it is possible to achieve even Vanguard with an 850v2 kit, as our @Spudley7 has done:
  20. Oh don't you worry about it. I'm on it.
  21. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Stephan "xEstebanx" Schneider (TB-83327) to the illustrious ranks of the Lancer scouts! Great job, @xEstebanx!! Make sure you send a picture of your coolest pose to @Shortstack for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out his application here:
  22. Okay Pathfinders! We put it to a vote and 10 am crushed 11:30 am, 65% to 35%. So 10 am it is. Thanks for your input. I have checked the weather for that day and it looks like it will be cloudy with a 20% chance of snow/rain. I will see you at on Friday morning! I can't wait to meet all the Pathfinders I haven't met already.
  23. @Spiel made this set. The armor is 3-d printed.
  24. No problem. We all Legion in different ways! https://www.facebook.com/Official501stPathfinders/
  25. I put a poll up on the Pathfinder FB page. Feel free to vote!
