  1. Thanks! They are tricky. I made several errors along the way, like twice closing the Velcro up inside the pocket flap. Fortunately I made the pouch and flap separate pieces.
  2. I slipped back into OCD mode and remade my pouches again. They went from too large then too small. These are in between. 5 1/2 x 6 x 2. I'm happy with them but think maybe 5 1/2 x 6 x 2 1/2. Would be better LOL. Yes my belt slid down about an inch. I'm replacing belt Velcro today.
  3. A 2x4 inch Velcro patch sewn to your leg and glued to the inside of the boot has held my blasters weight.
  4. Nice job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This is going to be an amazing build. Your TD greeblie is upside down though. I really like that armor. It seems like the size and shape of the shoulders and back pack are more accurate than my SC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Looks great! I don't see you having any approval issues. Future Lancer right here. I would suggest strategically placed and hidden Velcro to hold the biceps in position. My belt is also attached with Velcro. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thx. I must have scrolled past that post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That looks amazing. How did you do the weathering?
  9. I cut a piece of foam and hot glue to the top.
  10. If they are already attached, Talk to the armory team and / or your GML before you change anything. I'm just a dude who loves the Biker Scout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. There is some controversy over this photo. It's on a mannequin. The knees should be about an inch above the boots so that puts them too high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I would pin and post before you sew the riding patch. They should NOT go under the knee armor. The top should go under the cod.
  14. It all looks really good to me! You nailed the cuts on the boot toes. The only thing that is not visible in the pics is the riding patch position while your wearing the cod. It's probably okay but I just couldn't see it. You will probably want to spread the pouches apart about an inch each direction. It all looks really fantastic. Here is a shot I took of the blue ray. I was measuring from the pouch to the outer bund stitch.
  15. Awesome! I'm in Evansville. You are probably closer to the Bloodfin events than the midsouths's. If your not already, you should join the Bloodfin Garrison forums and join us at our events.
  16. They may carry wrangler boots. The soles are soft rubber and very easy to carve.
  17. The vest and pouches can be a little complicated but there are a few good vendors out there. Stay away from etsy.
  18. If you, or someone you know, can use a sewing machine it is pretty basic. Redkap mechanics coveralls are the most popular base layer here.
  19. They all kick ass!
  20. It's possible that you need a longer rivet since you added a plastic washer. I noticed that you painted the knee rivets. The Lancer standards changed for 2017 and the knee rivets are silver now. Keep up the good work.
  21. i think the pouches are too high on the bund. Your gonna have to pull the bund up to meet the side straps. It doesn't look like the pouches will allow that. I love the armor. I think the size of that back pack is the closet to screen accurate that's out there. What are the dimensions of those pouches? It looks like whoever made them nailed it. Before you sew on the riding patch, do a test fitting with the bund on to see how it looks under the cod.
  22. I guess I should have specified that my helmet is fiberglass and not abs. Thx for the replies.
  23. Does anyone have a good hard helmet case they recommend? I have a soft padded motorcycle bag that did not protect my bucket, well enough, from an impact.
  24. Heck no! He is "Cucblack." http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=13107
