You're ok with the clear coat on there already, mine was as well before I weathered it. From what I read most guys were using black and white spray cans and just misting... I didn't like the idea of using white so I took the same TAN that I used for my base coat and black spray can and misted everything, on the cummerbund i also misted brown to give it a little dirty or rusted look along with the tan and black. I think after that I gave it one more clear coat jsut so the weathering would be good n protected as well. If you find another way that interests you dont be afraid to try it.

You're looking great, I used snaps in my knees to keep them up... actually I used snaps on: - the front and back of my shins to keep them from riding too low, - the tops of my knees to keep them from dropping, - the outside end of my glove (connected to elbow armor) to keep the elbow armor in place, - the inside end of my glove (connected to the BDU's) to keep it from sliding down my arm - the inside and outside of bicep armor to keep them from dropping, - the top of my cummerbund (connected to the chest of my BDU's) to keep it from sliding down Umm... I think thats it, Oh I have my shins, and bicep pieces lined with foam to keep them from moving around as well. Just some ideas for you if you wanted (any of you guys really) Personally I think all you need is more weathering, you're way too clean but yeah those shin straps are really tan, but hey thats the CRL so whatever... Not like it will matter anyways, seems like all your GM's have a big hate-on for the up-to-date references and CRL's... and just go with what they think. Your colour is almost good, DON'T WORRY about turning them completely black... they have soaked up so much dye right now they wont get too bad even if you left them in even longer next time. I'd try an extra 15-25 mins in black and that would be that. as for your sewing job it looks good, mine looked like that too right after dyeing them, just give them a rinse and let them dry. No need to resew.

- Umm the undersuit has to be more or a really dark purple, so a black/brown would be closer than a brown for sure! - Riding patch is TAN for lvl 1 and OATMEAL for lvl 2... wtf its never been grey! (We aren't the Scout Troopers) - Underarm piece is 2 gray strips or "MADE TO LOOK THAT WAY" so again wtf, you were good witht he black strip in middle. - Box? I assume your drop pouches, they aren't grey, they are the same colour as the cummerbund pouches! I dont know why you guys run into these problems with your applications. It actually infuriates me to watch you guys get told you're wrong on some of these points.

Looks great Patrick, jsut keep pushing through it and you'll get finished. LoL, whats with all these secrete little KT's popping up? Ive had 3 other people starting their builds contact me for help as well but they dont seen to be posting on here. Theres lots of us here to give a hand if you need it!

Once you get everything finished make sure to weather everything; BDU's, hard/soft armor. It's what really makes everything look perfect

Nope, you can do whatever type of helmet you like with the Kashyyyk and it will not matter for your application. It does not specify in the CRL what it has to be so you can do a drop down, flip up, or a removable face. (or any other variation you can think of) You never see in the movie what style of bucket they have.

I'll post some pics of FanExpo soon but mine is heavly weatherd (all pieces soft & hard) so don't worry yours will come out looking great even with your little hiccup.

I actually used blue plastic then painted... Take a patch of whatever you think will give the look and try it out, can't hurt. Everybody has used something different for these "shoulder pads"

That's wicked, I really love the paint jobs. Makes me want to change my cam pattern... Yeah I got a nameplate on order but with the new Kashyyyk logo (the new patch with you on it) If I end up redoing my paint job on my armor I'll have to redo the box as well but then I'll new some new pouches to repainted as well

I actually have a good buddy that can do full colour decals, so I had him do me up some in aurebesh (haha had to make him add the font to his computer)
