I used the same fabric as my pouches. I put velcro on opposite ends & wrapped it around like an "e".

Do they not have the internet where you live? Im sure they do, because your on here. Look online & find what you need. People are posting a nice base boot found on Ebay for under $30. If you look a lil harder Im sure you can find them even cheaper.

NIce. The artist based his drawing on the Radica Sub Assault hand held video game. You can find them for about $25 on Ebay. With game, paint & plumbing pieces & couple of Legos I spent about $35.

Take them in apx 1 1/2"- 2" Should be fine. These are work coveralls made to go over your everyday clothes. Some people (my wife) have to take in the arms too.

Thanks Jim. Best part it still makes the real movie sounds when the trigger is pulled or magazine removed/added.

Here is a pic of my Scout Carbine. I used the Clone blaster above as a base & added a Nerf collapable stock with a few pvc & brass pieces.

STAY AWAY FROM EVOLUTION PROPS!!!!!! When I first started back in 2007 I bought a cumtom made to my measurements Tie Fighter Pilot suit from them. I paind & kinda forgot about it because I figured their mail/delivery system was slow. After about 4 months I asked about my suit. Guy said it was almost done & wouls ship out in a day or two by DHL. About a week later I get a call from my wife saying a bag showed up from DHL, but I wasn't goin to be happy. When I got home sure enough there was a new in tact no holes, rips or tears in it, a brand new sealed empty DHL bag. I immediately sent him an email & his was reply was I shipped it I swear. Someone must have taken it from the DHL post office. I will send you out anouth in a few days. Wow about days later another DHL bag shows up, this time with a jumpsuit inside. I try it on, this thing is no where near the measurements I sent him. To show you how small it was the cuffs didn't even close around my wrists. With it being past the 45 days of the Paypal claim I was out the $165. I can't get my money back, but I warn everybody about thier shotty rip off service.

Use a geavy duty needle & a thimble & push it through. Hopfully you bought 1.5-2.5 guage/thickness suesde. Any thicker & your going to have a very hard time getting the needle through the leather. My advice find someone with a sewing machine & have them sew it on.

I would reccomend taking it to the dry cleaners.

The hard part is making the bucks. Once you have those in hand the actual process to pull armor is apx 3min per pull. My friends vac table is about 2'x2'. He places about 4-6 small bucks on the table, warms the sheet of plastic then pulls the sheet over the bucks on the vacum side. Instantly you have the 4-6 pieces ready to be cut out. Larger pieces chest, back ect would take one pull each. I would think if you have a whole set of Scout bucks, you can pull a full set including helmet in less than an hour. Like I said I've been down his house where he has pulled 2 entire Stormtroper kits with helmet, cut, boxed up & had them ready to ship in less than 2 hours.

This is what a lot of new people belive because they don't know. "If you want the best, you must wait" BS! I've been down a friends house who makes armor & he has pulled 2 full sets of TK armor, trimmed & boxed up in 2 hours with me standing there talking to him. Stormtrooper armor has a whole lot more pieces than the Scout. I know armor is expensive & it takes some people a long time to save up. An 18mo wait is unacceptable. He has no time for comunication. He will communicate through 1 person on a cetain forum or if you lucky you get a group email about twice a year. Favorite excuse "I have a real life" Well check it out "mr armor maker who does not deliver" We all have a real life too. My wife has no complaints when I work on my orders. She knows if Im bringing in extra money "this weekend" is set aside to work on orders. Sometimes real life does get in the way, but not an 18mo delay. So anyone who says he is the best doesn't know what they are talking about. I'd tell them to "Move Along" if they havn't bought thier kit yet. SC makes a great kit & their service is unmatched.

Moncal is over an 18 month wait with no communication. Umm Hummmm 6 days(SC) vs 18 months or longer(MC) * wondering if you got stiffed. No brainer if you wanna troop....period! Jeff is the man you want to talk to. I've delt with him numrous times.

Go with the SC kit. My wife is 5"7 with 36DD & it fits her fine.

The forearm armor needs to come down a lil. The bottom will come over the glove. Pretty much stand straight with your arm down .& let it fall naturally over the glove.

Go to any welding supply store & buy a green welders safety shield, I belive its #5. Or just ask for the darkest one they make. It already has the curve in it & you just need to trace & cut with a pair of heavy duty scissors or tin snips. Once inside the helmet it will look black from the outside. Here in the states they go for about $15. If no welding stores near you, you can find cheaper online or ebay.

I know there's at least one Swamp Trooper in Australia. I made his jumpsuit.

Having an issue keeping chest armor over cummberbund.
Chunk replied to Grim's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
I added 2 stips(apx 6"ea) of Hook velcro from the top of the bund sticking straight up. Then I placed the loop velcro on the inside of my chest armor. Pretty much the same concept with the snaps, but with velcro instead. -
SC is the way to go. Paid for my wife's armor & had on my doorstep in 6 days

Love all the HyperFirms. I currently have E-11, EE-3,DLT-19, Scout Blaster & will pick up their DH-17 next month.
-
Hi Nicholas, Who in Texas made your boots? Hopfully it's not CABoots. The rest sounds like your on your way. The SC kit is great & can be put tgether in a day.

Its an artist rendering of the Biker Scout. You can find a few artist "own" take on the Scout if you Google Biker Scout Art or similar.

I placeed the "leg part" center with the leg seam.
-
It goes between the legs I kid I kid. Here is a pic of my Snow Scout so you can see the patch better. I used the same pattern on my Biker Scout. I think the total length of my patch is 18 inches. I fold it in half & use that fold to line up with the center seam of the jumpsuit crotch.

I work in a maximum security prison. No type of toy guns are allowed. I was trooping that past weekend & planed on carrying my Hyperfirm DLT-19 but decided not to. So I placed it on the backseat floorboard. Must have got home late & didn't see it when I was unloading my tub. I went to work the next day. As I open the back door to get my lunch box out I say holly #*&^! my coworker was right next to me & said WHAT? I showed her & she nearly droped her bags & said you gotta get that outta here thinking it was real. told her it was rubber(she knows I troop) I covered it with my rain coat & placed it back on the floorboard & told her not to tell anyone. Luckily it was 5:30am when I found it, so it was still dark & I could hide it without being seen.

SC is awesome on delivery time. I paid for my wife's kit & had in hand 6 days later. Drop Jeff an email & ask what his current delivery time is.
