I think it's a lil too much for a prop that was never in the movie. Starting bid is over $6500. One that was actually in the movie would definatley be worth that & more.

Been in contact with the seller everyday about getting the right size of my legs. Everything is a go & I just sent Paypal.

CB is the largest followed by KS & the SC being the smallest. I own a CB, KS & DP & have listed in in order from largest to smallest. I dont own an SC but have seen one in person & it looks very small. I would reccomend it for small men or women. Here is a pic of my 3 helmets. From left to right, DP, KS CB

Yes remove the leg pocket. You will have to take a seam ripper & tear out both seams around the pocket & pull it out. Then reheam the opening. You can find all your elastic at any fabric store. You can normally buy by the foot or yard & comes in several sizes from 1/4"-2" For the larger 2" normally runs a couple buck a yard.

Will do. Just waiting on overtime to come in.

Hehe how'd you know I was gonna cut the soles
-
Maker contacted me & they are custom made to "my" measurements. So will be placing an order on Tuesday.
-
I contacted them about calf circumfrence. If they can make wide to fit my calves I will be the test subject & place an order next week.

I take in the legs about 2". Very simple, turn the jumpsuit inside out & start at the crotch & sew inward at a slight angle & down about an inch from the edge. This will in turn be about 2" total since you will be sewing both sides at once. You will not have to make any other alterations from the riding patch or elastic bands.

Cheap (.88) acrylic paint from Walmart will turn any sole into the proper shade. You can find it in their arts & craft section. Last time I looked must have been about 10 shades of brown. I painted my soles & it flexes with walking & has not flaked off.
-
They dont shrink. But you can take in the legs about 2" to make them more snug. As for the body it will be covered by the cummerbund & vest.

Buy away, great stuff!

Easy fix to both. Just flip them over. You placed the biceps on upside down. Can the clips be rotated on your TD? If so rotate them too so it sits right.

Excess vinyl cut off, & stip added. I placed tape to hold it in place.

Question : On the 'dogbone" is glue applied to the entire underside of the dogbone or just the ends? When I say ends I mean the ball end where the 2 stich lines go? I did not make my previous boots but they are only glued on the ends. This alows the boot to flex without any pull on the toe cap & shaft.
-
Here's a lil FYI. I looked & looked but there was nothing on what shape of vinyl to use on the toe cap. I took a normal piece of blank computer paper & test fitted it. Was plenty hanging over on all sides, so this is what I went with. I just traced the paper onto my vinyl & cut. Using the boot tutorial here I used the pics as a guide as to wear to place the vinyl. I had a few wrinkles before the 1st placing in the car. But as time went on & the vinyl became more plyable the wrinkles were smoothed out as you can see from the last picture. I chose the Brahma Boot because it was super lite. Almost as lite as my running shoe. But for some reason these boots only come in wide widths. I normally wear a 10, but I chose a 9 1/2 in these & they fit fine.
-
Following the boot tutorial here. Here are some progress pics. First pining before strech, Sitting in a hot car & final strech with pins moved to "top". I left my boots in a hot car for 40min before the 1st streching, & about 40min to over an hour for the rest. Streched & repined for a total of 3x, & the forth moving the pins to the top now to help get a close snug fit.

The boots I use now have 2 plastic strips on the inside to support the holster. I dont have an issue with boot sag. Will make the new boots exactly like the old.

Bought Brahma Boots at Walmart, $29.99. These boots are super lite! Marked & cut out the lug soles. Bought 1yd of white vinyl, E-600 & push pins. Will post progress pics as I go along.

I used 2 part, 5min epoxy & velcro. I made some small bridge with small plastic tubing cut in half. I glued the bridge "C" down & let cure. I placed Industrial Strength Velcro on the top of the bridge & "outside" of the lens. Holds perfectly & it removable.

Its larger than most fan made. I have a "topic" here comparing the CB to a KS & DP. Pics from all sides

Need reliable source for jumpsuit and flak vest

We need to relize not everyone has a reputable post office. I ordered a flightsuit from another company in South America. I too was given a couple diffrent shipping numbers. When I finally did recive my package, it was an empty bag. No tears, rips or holes. An intact DHL bag was mailed to me empty. The vendor said people at the post office steal items & resell for thier own profit. As for Christian I stand behind him. We agreed on a price & approximate delivery time. He was in constant communication when I had questions. The helmet arrived 5 days after the delivery date. This was acceptable to me, because I know not everyone has new working trucks, planes ect to deliver mail. Christian is a stand up guy & makes great product.
