It sounds like you will have a complete costume at some point. I'd wait to take it out in public. No belt, boxes, or TD...not a biker scout IMHO.

In the end it's all about having fun. But why do the costume 1/2 the way?

Yeah, I use Velcro for my helmet padding too. Ez to remove and swap out, etc.

Helmet looks good and the boot is clean and straight. You might consider trimming a little more around the inner lens area.

Great work overall and nice boot detail. Armor should be good for general 501st clearance.
