  1. Looking good Adam! Do you have the snout greeble and bolt covers for the lid? Awesome work so far...!
  2. That sounds like a cool project. You might like this link: http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/bikerscout/thehelmet.html
  3. Looking really good. I know this conversion is challenging due to the roto-casted vinyl.
  4. Score. I think you found THE worst scout helmet.
  5. This was a good question. I'm also upgrading and this is good to know.
  6. That is the best source and very good service.
  7. Awesome job and the colors look really good too...!
  8. Cheers! Great work on your weathering...!
  9. It's all good Andy. That pic was taken back when we first discovered the greeble and were trying to figure out its' orientation. I do have it the correct way now (see below).
  10. Interesting...kind of remind me of the Lugz boot.
  11. As stated...E6000 is one of the best glue options. I use it for just about everything except blasters and use Gorilla Super Glue for those tasks. The helmet does not require painting unless (as Chex mentioned) you have some discoloration or something that makes it look wrong. Not sure about the "back seam" deal...can you post a pic? My KS lid does not have this issue.
  12. Thanks for the tip! I know exactly what you mean...we can actually see what's up! I have begun to notice the marks and stuff but plan to leave them for "character". I do use Novus #2 for most ABS related scratches and cleanup but will pickup some of this "Awesome" and give it a shot.
  13. If you have not already, create a work in progress (WIP) post. Pics are always good...
  14. No doubt, great find and work on your boots.
  15. Cool, looks good! Hope to see pics of your armor pulls.
  16. Good luck on your build! I have been thinking about doing one for a while. Can't wait to see your pics...!
  17. Cool blaster...looking good! I would go all black with some weathering on the body...maybe antique the stock a bit w/some burnt umber or something.
  18. Cool, can't wait to see how this all turns out. Great attention to detail on this blaster.
  19. Yep, in the end that's what I used.
