  1. Trooperbay (or other) decals and 3M bolt covers. That's it.
  2. If any scouts are interested, Chris is doing a fine job with these boots. Great quality, look, and service. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=13640&hl=&fromsearch=1
  3. That would be a "no".
  4. If done right, these can look quite nice and weigh practically nothing.
  5. I like, that you like Lou.
  6. I have an SC Shadow Scout with a CF helmet. SC is top-notch, I love that setup too.
  7. I started off totally KS (lid and armor). The helmet was just okay, and the armor was horrible. I modified and replaced the armor parts, then went with an MLC lid, and finally now have an Altmann. It's the best for my head size.
  8. http://www.studiocreations.com/HOWTO/bikerscout/index.html
  9. Or an MLC or an Altmann, or a... It all comes down to your size and shape.
  10. Keep in mind, if you upload images to the site - you need to grant permissions to your library/gallery. If you do not, only yourself and the staff will see them. It is a far better option to upload on PhotoBucket (or some other hosting site) and then link them here. IMHO...
  11. Ideally, you want the belt level to the bund. I use Velcro on my vest to help hold the bund up front/back. It helps to prevent sagging and stuff. These are little adjustments.
  12. Looks pretty solid to me. Just put your forearm armor over your glove. This should be an easy approval, well done.
  13. And, do you love it?
  14. I've owned them all and I absolutely love my Altmann helmet.
  15. I wear KS armor (w/ an Altmann helmet), but have replaced the offending parts.
  16. Yep, no fans on this end. The vents on the helmet provide a nice bit of circulation, from time to time. And, welcome to BSN AL! I see you...
  17. Or, just check out Trooperbay.com. Good decals and service. They also provide these via eBay. http://trooperbay.com/decals/prop-replica-decals/star-wars-props/scouts-tb.html
  18. Tapatalk is a great tool, on it now. The forum also has a mobile skin that you can use as well.
  19. Looking good! My only advice is to raise your drop boxes. They should ideally be about 1.5" to 2" from your belt, depending on size, etc. And this is purely from experience, round the edges of your belt back a tad. You may end up poking or jabbing something! Great work all in all!
  20. I do use an Aker 10W amp and ICOMM device for my TK/TX & TI troopers. Just not the scouts. The ICOMM has various static burst effects (5) that can be tweaked to used right out of the box. Jim Sauter TK-6294 offers a really great combo deal.
