Add a hard hat liner, 3M bolt covers, and TB decals. You'll be good to go.

Again, no definitive proof and "Gino says" does not get you anywhere around here. I love what Mickey did and could see how it "might" have been done in that fashion. To be clear - it's not a requirement at this point since there's nothing definitive to back it up.

TK6294 (Jim Sauter) sells the iComm along with a cool 10W Aker amp that includes a mic. Good stuff and what I use for my Tie. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=11906

Gabe has been doing some good stuff. BUT, is he a Lancer? Nope...so be careful and check with the BSN staff.
-
Careful mate. I understand your opinion - but unless you have first-hand experience with RS, or another vendor, it's just an opinion. You're entitled to it, and heck we all have one, but LOTS of folks are working with them (and others). It's common now in the US for pre-orders, half down-half on delivery, etc.

Gotcha, I do remember Daniel posting those up. Thanks for the link. The actual 501st posting requires 501st access, but the files he built are on a public web server. He's asking that the links be kept "501st only". So, that's how it will remain.

Been that way since at least 2011.

That's not correct. The link is "public" and not hosted by the Legion. http://upload.501stlegion.org/audio/

I believe that is our LW. I have seen those pics here, too. -
Easy trick: Cut a small square out of cotton (like a t-shirt) to cover the hole. Soak it in Super Glue and place it over the hole on the underside. Then, cut a small circle of cloth to cover the outside hole, and do the same. When it dries, you can re-drill the hole accordingly and attach with a rivet. It's a solid trick and can also be used to repair a crack.

Now that's a cool blaster Joe! I love this thread...

Um, no there is not.

Yes, please keep in mind these are hand-made by Spike. I have nothing but good things to say about the helmet, quality, and service He's a good man and will work with you if there's an issue.

I do not have this issue. Mine is absolutely fantastic. What type of liner or padding are you using?

I too am a VERY happy Altmann helmet guy. I've had KS, SC, and MLC. The Altmann is the only lid that fits my dome (beside Chef's helmet). Great work and service from Spike, too. A++ -
