Soft parts really are not an issue to buy abroad, as they are light weight and ship relatively cheaply. It's the boots that weigh a bit that really push the price up for me. I use parcel force and they nearly add a third to the cost on shipping alone

I'm guessing that suit could work, if you could tighten up the looseness on you for a good fit. And remove all the details such as pockets, and those lighter looking detail pieces on the arms and running down the leg. You need to be left with a plain suit, so ask maybe for some more photos and make your mind up from that. I used a light weight cheap flight suit for mine, and run a stitch down the limbs to tighten it up I can make the cummerbund for you, or advise you on how it's made if you want a stab at it.

All good thoughts, I would just like to add, fun factor is above all other costumes, and I too have built a lot , Scouts are worldwide known for getting away with stuff, other troopers cannot. So in short their cool as heck, movement is soooo good and fun fun fun, go for it Brock you won't be disappointed

Not really sure what your asking bro... Why should you let another competitor get in the business? We have lots of troopers making boots on here, for other troopers, I'm not the only one??? everyone is free to offer items, as long as sales are genuine and our troopers are treated properly, good delivery times ect. And you say as a boot maker your opinion can not be objective? I make boots yes, but first and fore most I'm staff, and as staff I need to point out inaccuracies. I'm assuming these are your boots advertised? When I said they don't have the right feel, the soles are two toned, they really need to be a single colour, they also do not have the cut heel detail. The construction is obviously done differently, film boots were just standard sneaker/boots and re covered. That feel is gone with a custom made boot, they are almost to clean in design if that makes sense. I just feel that boots made to the tutorial are more accurate and have the right feel and would meet the Lancer levels, I'm sorry if that offends dude. I just feel maybe the design could be tweaked for a more accurate looking boot.

Regarding the cod it's each to their own at this point, I can't see how having the top attached to the vest makes it pull or act different. As it's the bottom end between the legs that crease. The top of mine behaves as it should, it's all about fine fettling at the lower end I feel that yields the results of eliminating camel toe, it's really hard for me to get it right for every trooper as no one is the same shape. This was brought up a few days ago, there's votes in both camps. For me personally I won't be separating the cod, it's an item that really makes no difference to the look if attached or separate, again if you want it separate do it bro If we could get our hands on a screen used one to draw up definitive patterns then yes maybe, it could be pushed further.

If you want it shorter alls good, as long as black doesn't show above the belt. Personally I feel longer is better, by the time we've been in costume for a while things are going to ride up, and black will show. I like the fact I can Velcro my belt to the bund to keep everything in place
