Well, I can't remember if MC includes a snout with the armor. If he does, for the KS bucket you'll want the snout with the backer plate so make sure you ask for that one. MC pretty much includes everything else, but right now everyone seems to be ordering the TD greeblies from DJ over in the UK (myself included). Now you have to know that completing your build and getting it approved, especially with MC armor, you'll be pretty darn close to Lancer. Why not just go for it right off the bat. Aim high!!!!! We need a Lancer in the BAG.

I swear every time I see someone start one of these, it makes me want to do one too. Especially since we only have 1 here in Florida now.

I almost just want to place a big order from him for those, and just keep them on hand for people building, or upgrading here in the states. Hmmmm...

We're not going to make you paint your bucket to qualify for Lancer. But if you are intent on painting, change out those hinge bolt covers for something more accurate. Can stand seeing people with the KS covers.

And I see you're going to go with the cotton webbing instead of nylon that comes with the kit. Personal preference, or are you aiming higher then just getting approved?

Very, very nice, though the 2 back grey stickers are inaccurate, due to the black outline around them. other then that, outstanding job.

Even if you paint it, you're not going to want a high gloss anyways. I left my ks in my in for a month after trooping Star Wars Weekends at Disney and it yellowed...big time. I masked off the lens, primed it, wet sand with 600 grit, puat a coat of high gloss rustoleum white, wet sanded again, then one more coat of white. Turned out great. Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about painting it. Your armor will dull faster through trooping then your bucket. Let it be, I say.

They look promising. I don't see why they wouldn't work. The only thing that makes me cringe is the price. Let us know if you get them and they work well.

Your vest fits well, but you need some touch ups on your suit mods, mainly the inner thighs and straps. You'll want the straps a little tighter, and not looking so loose. Also with the inner thighs, I can see the suede popping up where the strap meets so you'll want to fix that. Just tighten up the suede bro. Your vest looks good though, though you should have used black velcro instead of white.

Just remember the finishing touches. The CRL did recently just change, and I couldn't tell if you had all the mods done on the flight suit. (Inner thighs, butt flap, leg straps.)

Yeah, SC comes with everything you need. Now remember, SC offers a 3 piece belt, so if you want to go for Lancer, you will need to mod it to look like a 1 piece. You can be approved with nylon strapping, but I think that cotton just looks better. Jim is right about the painting. Just the rectangle on the chest and the white on the topper. They should include the pinstriping, both black and a little red for the topper. Just breath..;lol..and take it easy. It's a lot easier to work on then you think.

And don't be intimidated by it. It's really not that hard of a build.

Def trim a little off the top of the biceps, like Marcel mentioned. Also, your rank strips are just way too thick. Should be around the same thickness as your tank detail striping. The armor fits you good, so you did a great jod fitting it to your size. Pouches are a good size too. Just get some foam to throw in them. Don't forget though that the TD greeblies, the vest, and the suede and strap mods to the suit need to be done since the CRL just changed. Looking really good though. You'll be dodging trees in no time.

A lot of us have SC armor. It's good stuff. Just wish he would make his belt a one piece and maybe rescuplt his knees, but I love it.
