  1. You know I need a pair of those when you're done.
  2. I just saw one a potential squad mate got in kit form, and the visor is horrible, and just straight up unusable. How they even sent it off that way boggles the heck out of me.
  3. That was the main reason I never went with mc..the wait. You'll find that should be a lot easier then putting togetjer a tk. At least.. I think it is.
  4. You now scouts...we have to be patient.
  5. Def use cotton. It looks so much better. Bad thing is that Jeff includes cotton webbing now instead of nylon for the belt boxes. Marcel pretty much hit the nail on the head though. And remember you don't want your boxes hanging too low
  6. I was just gonna say..I think Jeff does one.
  7. Just keep on researching and reading. Right now no one is making KT armor, just the helmets. Would also join up on the local garrison's boards as well. Plenty of people that could hopefully get your squared away with help painting, building, etc. Thank you for your service as well. We have plenty of active duty/reserve/guard/prior military in the legion.
  8. Interesting about the belt, though if you look at the pics of scouts from screen caps, the belt doesn't appear like the one in the still. And the holster strap doesn't appear as well. Remember that we pretty much base the CRL from what we can derive from screen caps. Interesting none the less though.
  9. Lol do it, Matt! Does look kinda cool, yet way too odd.
  10. Not too shabby, but I'm not a helmet expert like some are. Be interested to get LW's take on it.
  11. Hi Graham. Have you signed up on your Garrison's message boards? Might be easier finding someone local to help you out.
  12. Nice start. Penn, some people start with the armor, some with the soft parts. Just ask questions. We'll be happy to answer.
  13. It's not that hard, but I know I racked my brain a little thinking about the best way to do things. Wish I lived closer, I'd love to help out a future scout.
  14. I used a satin black myself, and on other scout buckets I've built. Looks better.
  15. Looks nice, Andry. Might do something like that when I upgrade to MC armor.
  16. I had always known it to the Q-2s5, but Scott, the LMO, when he did those patch runs called it the EB-71.
  17. Looks like your questions have been answered. And the glue gun will come come in handy one day, trust me. Just not handy unless you're gluing in the lens on your bucket. As far as rivets go, 1/8 is pretty much for everything, EXCEPT the rivet I used on the top of the tank. That one was the next size up.
  18. What armor did you go with? Either way, 1 rivet on each side to connect the webbing for the back of the belt. Looks good so far, very good fit. Butt flap could stand to be a bit longer.
  19. Knew I should have gotten a set when it was still being pulled. All the best to ya!
  20. Good deal. What bucket did you go with?

Awesome pics! Welcome to the Pathfinders!
  22. Outstanding job!
  23. I knew someone that used fabric glue, and yeah...not the best results, so they ended up sewing it.
