  1. Sweet!!!!!
  2. Nice work so far bro, You should ask mammasith to get you the pouches in a light greenish/creamish tone so you could paint the scheme on it... t would be faster, probably look better too... ...you guys have an armor maker down there??
  3. A quote from Leticia from spain:
  4. You have to put some foam on the inside so that it sits proper on your arm. That's doubly important on the side with the box as it´s heavier and will lean on the side if you don´t.
  5. I actually think you got them lined up pretty well that way. And after you glue them you still have to bondo or whatever to disguise the glued lines so in the end nothing will be noticeable IMO...
  6. Also, on the bucket subject, take advantage that it's still raw and make sure the inside of the lens area is smoothed out o take the lens. Make sure the lens can sit properly. Mine could still do with some improvement IMO...
  7. Bro use the rubbery super glue I posted on my topic so it can cope with the movement
  8. Take advantage of this guys, shipping is fast with Susie and the kit is great!
  9. Here´s my build: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=13749&st=0 On the first page you can see foot plates already cut, but later I revised the way they were cut and also trimmed them down to a smaller size, hope it helps...
  10. Hi! Originaly I used epoxy glue(nural 25) to glue the visor to the helmet, but with handling and transportation it snapped off, the glue was too brittle? Whatever, I then got this and no more issues: EDIT: You can also glue the silicone greebs to the armor with this
  11. The side zippers are a big no-no, but the other options are good if you can take away the printed designs. You could also look for the desert boots that grumpy used: Altama Desert Boots Or try finding my boots from miltec:
  12. Also, depending on brand(because of size) you could also try MX or Ski mask lenses.
  13. Nope, you gotta get something mirrored like SHOC Visor inserts(I got mine from Australia cause shipping from the US to Portugal like $47 or 47€ or whatever)
  14. I mostly used Nural 25, cures in 5min and you're ready to go to another part...
  15. Hey, thought I should post it up too:
  16. Welcome man, there are very few of us, but it's a great costume and it really turns heads... Our section is on the below part of the forum, take a look around and let us know if you have any questions, ok? Someone will get your back and help you out
  17. Actually I got my set from a german store(not sure if this is workable for you, but at the time I also got the boots from them so the shipping costs actually weren´t that much), but you may also have luck with ebay.co.uk sellers...
  18. Can't really tell, as it doesn't specify the composition... You must try to find the regular cotton ones..
  19. Seems like I forgot to leave here the info on the colors I used on the camo and other places: All of these are Krylon: So, for the camo I used Krylon Camo Tan(also sprayed the boots to make them look more even with the armor plates) as the base: Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800] Then I used Krylon Camo Brown with the sponge: Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800] And this Krylon Green(it´s shiny but don´t worry about it now): Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800] Then after the weathering done with the Tamyia magic powder(featured in erlier posts) I sealed everything with this Krylon Satin Lacquer: Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800] For the grey stuff I used a lighter primer that this one from Krylon, its a local stuff that's actually pretty decent. This one from Krylon I'm using for prepping the wood on the DC-15s: Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800] And i Also used Black Krylon from the camo line to spray the insides of everything(don´t use this on the belt as it will flake off) and also on the gun itself: Image resized to 83% of its original size [600 x 800]
  20. Brother may I suggest you don´t glue all the parts right away? Would you consider casting those and make a full kit? Do you think it would be affordable/Resistant like that? Cause i'm doing a '15S but my heart belongs to the '15A, and a Woodchuck's would put a huge dent in my wallet...
  21. Hey bro, Did you get my PM regarding the riding patch? Regarding the uniform i'm sure you source some DDPMs in a webstore, i got mine+boots at an affordable price in the below site: https://www.asmc.com/ Cheers
  22. Can´t get the link to the sale as it´s gone but you can contact James: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/shocvisors or by email: jcashat@gmail.com
