  1. It is, you will find out with the greebs for the arms... ...for that I used a super glue with added rubber so it worked alright. For the greed in the gloves, either try with just the shoemaker's glue or add the stiches. My gloves were made from scratch by my seamstress she stiched the greeb in place(bless her!)
  2. What about the soles? Are they light brownish/cream?
  3. How's the modding on those boots coming along?
  4. Pathfinders!
  5. So, now Mil-Tec doesn´t have them, Pentagon do(go figure?!):https://www.military1st.co.uk/k15024-03-pentagon-scorpion-desert-boots-coyote.html See? They already have a sexy arch to work with Again, don´t get the version with the side zippers. Edit: Crap! Just noticed that these have now the brand name pressed on the side...
  6. This is great news, cause we thought we had lost him last year, with the move and all...
  7. Onwards! To modding!!!!
  8. Giovanni's boots are very expensive and they used to be white body + black tread, you need tan + cream. If he makes those colors for you they can the THE boots. If he doesn´t do at least the cream tread I personaly wouldn't bother, its too much trouble to paint the tread because usually paint doesn´t adhere too well to rubber...
  9. Both parts need to be checked against the chest piece, the top parts need to touch eachother, so to speack. The bottom back part needs to sit a little on top of the bottom part coming from the chest plate.
  10. Sorry, nope... Something along these lines I believe: https://www.walmart.com/ip/3M-Bondo-Stage-2-Fiberglass-Resin-Jelly/17056868 In Portugal I use these: https://www.motip.com/products/motip/automotive/putty/fibre-putty-unfilled/
  11. Actually that's the mat type, not what you want(just read the small letters) you want one that's putty like...
  12. That's the one! It's basicaly a kind of bondo but in fiberglass, harder to work with and sand down, but it will make that area a lot more resistant..
  13. You are doing good time on your build bro! Have you checked sme of the builds to help you with the attachment od the tank to the back plate? Use plastic leftovers for stru support+fibreglass to reinforce it, then bondo/car filler to make it look god:1st and 2nd pages:
  14. Hey bro welcome to the swamp! Let us know how your build is going along!
  15. Wow that was quick!
  16. Mm, looks good is that the final model? And yeah, having it available on etsy or other places would be killer!!!
  17. Also, and taking advantage of the photobucket pictures coming online again, here's my build: In this page you can see what i did to my sole with the dremel, two pages later I painted them to match the tan color of the armor. And below I did a topic just with a small tip for how t make the arch look better: P.S.: man the forum rules, its making posting everything so much easier!
  18. Any updates?
  19. These are not an option IMHO, they have a side zipper, and truth be told for that price they are not better looking than modded army boots...
  20. Try downloading to your computer and see if you can zom in and out without the logo....
  21. Thats a good brand, maybe more people can benefit from using this brand! I liked the colors in your above test piece
  22. The pics above are working again, (hurray photobucket?) I believe using those designs with the dimensions in the CRL you can have a seamstress do them pretty easily, here are the pics: ..and also an alternate route:
  23. Looks good, what are those colors/brands?
