The krylon brown just adds a little added depth to the actual arch. A little illusion that IMO helps a little.

Hi brothers, I got a small tip for for the arch of the bots. After dremeling out the arch of your boots, you can apply a little spray of brown to the sole. It will help create the illusion of a bigger arch:

Hey they look pretty good! After you camo paint and weather them they'll be just fine!
-
I like your way of thinking!!!
-
I´m just fortunate that the guys haven´t figured it out and started asking me to carry their car keys, phones and change...
-
Before applying dirt(colors) to your weathering may I suggest improving the metallic scratches? With a thin brush draw a very thin black line around the metal paint. This will create an illusion of depth and that metal was beneath a layer of black primer: In good truth I actually start with the black and THEN paint the metal leaving the small line of black(but you already have the metal on it so... ):

So, when are you starting your Kashyyyk build?

Don´t forget to fill them with foam, so they look like they are actually being used for something

Keep at it bro!

I´ve been there bud, it´s all about the patience. You'll get there! I'm re-doing my legs at this time so I got a lot more of this in store too...

60G just to take the edges off, them 120G to start rounding down the shae, then 240G to start smoothing it then 500G for the final smoothing. Apply a basecoat of primer and check for the results, if it´s not perfect you can do another round with 500G or 1000G.

I like the tread on those but unfortunately you got the 5.11 brand on the sides... Try and get a pair of miltecs like mine(waaaay cheaper than 5.11's and also have a bigger arch in the middle: https://www.asmc.com/Clothing/Footwear/Shoes-and-socks/Boots/Combat-Boots-Generation-II-khaki-p.html

Hey bro, like me you will have to get a seamstress to work on the uniform, removing the buttons and pockets, adding velcro and changing the neck + macking new pockets. The riding patch you have to look around, I got my fabric on one of those places where they sell the fabrics on rolls(they cut your desired quantity) -
In my case I sprayed it on the sponge...

Camo Paint - Planning to choose

Matte, its all the more important if you use the same green as I did, because it was gloss when everything else was matte. This way you even out every color in the end.
