  1. ...got some very nice updates to my WIP(Courtesy of Mr. Chris Hale):
  2. Thanks guys! Sac I'm using leftover bits of armor. From trimming the legs and such. Then I'll reinforce with fiberglass and then smooth it with car putty... Enviado do meu GT-I9301I através de Tapatalk
  3. Got some work done with the help of some of the rare earth magnets i got from ebay: ...and the "damn it I still got so much to do I gotta see how it looks on me" selfie:
  4. Some more work done and my arms are now glued and reinforced:
  5. Nice! We need more updates like this bro!
  6. ..some more work done during the weekend: Made some progress on the back armor(and ordered rare earth magnets to help keep everything in place while drying): Some advance in my arms:
  7. With my Dremel back from warranty here's some progress(fully done by now but I was too dirty to pick up the phone for more pics): Also got a question, at my local hardware shop I got two types of tan straps one is finer than the other both are slightly wider than the greebs: What do you guys think? Usable? If so which one? (personally I´d rather use finer one, think it looks better)
  8. I´m looking into these ones(still need modding of course): http://www.asmc.de/en/Clothing/Footwear/Shoes-and-socks/Boots/Combat-Boots-Generation-II-khaki-p.html
  9. I´m from Portugal(i´m also on UKG) and I got mine(still a WIP) from the states. The maker is bikerchick. I´m sure you´ll get more feedback on her shortly, I can tell you that I got my armor really fast!
  10. Are you already on UKG?(https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/forum/index.php) There are some Kashyyyk Troopers there that will help you out
  11. Thanks bro! I replied back BTW.
  12. I tried it on with tape before glueing both halves and i can slide it up and put the boot afterwards, so i´m confident it will work as it is now. I have noticed in one of your pics i may have the wrong shape on the back of the toe armor, but it´s ok as it´s still too big and i can still trim it to size as I wear and EU size 40/41... ...my new Dremel died yesterday and it´s off to warranty, so this is a good time to advance in sanding the seams till they are perfect. Hope to get some more pics up the end of the day...
  13. ..some of the more advanced parts:
  14. ...I got some mates with a 3D printer... How would one aquire the files?
  15. Found a version in Germany without the side zippers: http://www.asmc.de/en/Clothing/Footwear/Shoes-and-socks/Boots/Combat-Boots-Generation-II-khaki-p.html What do you think?
  16. ...some work done today:
  17. Hi guys, Take a look at the picture and let me know your thoughts. What I like about these is that I can get them from a shop near me, not have them sent from abroad. Also they already have a nice arc, just needs a little tweak... What I´m scared of are the side zippers, they are on both sides, so it´s probably a big No-No, right?
  18. Hola Leticia! Take pics of your brown box!! Got some more work done in the form of my knee protections, one of my favorite parts of this armor: But now i got another question, my legs are very short so I gotta trim the leg armor, how do I go about this? Trimm from the top part? or from below?
  19. Hi guys, Just washed all the armor pieces with dish soap to get the oily residue out and started cleaning some of the pieces:
  20. ...in record time since sent by BC to my house it took a week! (The customs guys must be really itching to go on vacations or something) So just to tease you guys:

  21. Dude that is so awesome! Post (a lot) more pics!!!!
  22. Cheers!
  23. The lower pic looks like a good option. Are you gonna go white on it? Or light tan/almost white looking? What dremel bit will you use to shape the sole?
  24. Congrats bro!
  25. That looks like it´s going in the right direction, but the colors are not right yet right? The light parts should me grey, and the rear of the glove needs to be in brown...
