  1. Awesome, Mark! We are here to help you on your journey! Make sure you start a WIP thread so we can assist with your progress
  2. Nice work on making your own bund! It's actually one of the more simple garments -- a cloth rectangle that wraps around the wearer, basically. Please check out this thread for some pointers:
  3. Hmm, it looks like recast Studio Creations armor. It's not the best looking set I've ever seen, but it's workable for basic approval. You have a lot of good scouts in the UKG. Definitely get signed up on the forum there so you can get some local help as well as what we have to offer you here!
  4. Never heard of Low Cost Armours so I don't have an opinion on them. I'd have to see the whole kit. However, your forearm armor is on upside down, so let's get that switched up! Welcome to the fun! Look forward to the rest of your build.
  5. On behalf of Pathfinders command, it's my pleasure to welcome Taylor "Ruthar" Goodson to the Armory Team as our resident Patrol Trooper expert. @Ruthar already has a bunch of responsibilities under his belt, such as Northeast Remnant Garrison Executive Officer, ACD Detachment Costume Advisor and IOC Advisor -- Lenape Command Division Leader, so I was a bit hesitant to approach him about even more duties. But he took up the challenge eagerly, so expect to see him "Patrolling" the PT section of the forum. He's also a Lancer Scout, so his advice will be welcome for that costume as well. Check out Taylor's Patrol Trooper build -- this is a future "CHiP" in the making:
  6. We don't do Level 3 at the Pathfinders. Anything in Level 2 is available for Level 1 as well. It's just that to achieve Level 2 status, you must have ALL of the Level 2 requirements. The language Kris proposed says "may be". So even for Level 2, it's not a necessity. Until we really know how this was constructed on the actual costume, we can't really do anything more than suggest.
  7. @wingnut65 brought this to my attention: The ear bar area is gray and has two bumps. The front bump is narrow and is painted black and the rear bump is wider and remains gray. That should actually be reversed. It should read: The ear bar area is gray and has two bumps. The rear bump is narrow and is painted black and the front bump is wider and remains gray.
  8. Everything you need is found in the CRL, but it basically boils down to: Balaclava Flight suit with alterations Flak vest Cummerbund Pouches Codpiece Gloves Boots Please check out these threads:
  9. Yes he actually sold his PT to Doug Ridley (@LawDoug). I'm still waiting for Doug to finish it up and get approved!
  10. Just FYI, Noel retired from the Legion, so I don't know if he'll be chiming in.
  11. Looks like WTF armor. And the weathering is all wrong. That's not black rattle can....
  12. Yes it seems to run from the battery pack, up the back and down into the glove.
  13. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Grazia "Lux" (ST-77745) to the illustrious ranks of the Vanguard Shoretroopers! Great job, @Lux !! Make sure you send a picture of your coolest pose to @Shortstack for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out her application here:
  14. Yeah someone posted that up a few weeks back. That will be an option for the Jedi Fallen Order Scout once the CRL is written.
  15. Please join us! We have a whole future Patrol Trooper Squad in So Cal Garrison that are getting kits ready for SWCA!
  16. Yes. Kriptontop aka Cucblack aka CB makes quality garments. One caveat: he was banned from selling on this forum due to shipping issues that lead to more than a few folks never getting their product. By all accounts, he has cleaned up his act, but make sure you ask for Fedex if you order. Chef was DL here before me and is XO of UKG, so his ties to the Legion are a lot stronger.
  17. The general consensus is --- in that ballpark. The CRL scout was modeled after the picture in the costumes book. BUT...the Scout in the Costumes book is a mannequin. Not everyone is going to fit the costume the same way. Thus the variations. I advise 2-3 inches above your actual kneecap.
  18. Ah okay. I thought Chrisx909x had a post in there but I don't see it any longer. There's also Chef in the UK and Kriptontop on Etsy.
  19. There's more than a few soft goods makers and they can be found in the Vendors section: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/156-vendor-sales/
  20. Congrats, buddy. I've bumped you up to full Pathfinder status.
  21. Thanks @Hask I was coming in here to post that, but you beat me to it
  22. We're happy to help where our costumes are similar, but the home of the Shadow Scout is Spec Ops: https://specops501st.com/
  23. On behalf of Pathfinders' Command, it is my pleasure to promote Justin "MrPoopie" Hartwell (TB-36000) to the rank of Ranger! @MrPoopie has completed his 100th troop as a Pathfinder, showing true dedication to this Detachment! Check out his trooping log here: Congrats, Justin. @Shortstack will add your picture to the Pathfinder Hall of Fame. I've also let @plagu3is know you are eligible to purchase the Ranger patch. Wear it with pride, Pathinder!
