  1. As long as it's an eating implement of some sort, that's what's important!
  2. Sorry you and your family are dealing with this, Nathan. We are always going to be here for you; plastic spacemen can wait.
  3. There was an auction two years ago that we got a lot of great photos from. As soon as the hero blaster photos appeared for this new auction, several people sent them to me and I got them loaded up in the Scoutopedia. Thanks for the post!
  4. Check out the Scoutopedia! We already have most of those in there http://www.501stpathfinders.com/scoutopedia.php
  5. If the armor covers it, then it would be fine for level 2. If not, then further steps would need to be taken.
  6. Main post edited with the great new patterns by @woobiee
  7. Wow these are great! We'll double check them but if you don't mind I would love to add them to our pinned posts on soft goods
  8. Yeah we've done a few reviews of the CP boots on the forum. The reason why they offer the under boots now is because the Detachment reached out and asked for that to be an option. We felt that their full boot offering wasn't as screen accurate as we would like and giving people the ability to make their own boot covers would lead to a better result.
  9. Ah. These are standard equestrian boots. I think if you need something a little more unique, you may need to try an actual equestrian boot maker.
  10. Not sure what you mean by "short", but I'm a size 12 and these are the boots I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YLQAXS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  11. If you're interested in weathering tips, I highly suggest you check out Christina's Mando Scout WIP. It's a masterclass:
  12. If you could add one more thing to your list, may I suggest removing the rivets from your belt (the ones connecting the three belt pieces together). You can use E6000 to glue the belt together. Then the rivet holes can be filled in and painted. The only rivets on the belt should be the one on each side holding the rear strapping to the hard belt.
  13. Plenty of pics in the Scoutopedia!
  14. Yes, stick with the standard. Large flange rivets weren't used in ROTJ, so we don't use them on the ROTJ Scout. If they showed up on the Mandalorian Scout somewhere, that's a different story. Basically, you can't go wrong with these:
  15. For an example of a large flange rivet, check these out. These would be a no-no: https://www.amazon.com/HJ-Garden-Self-Plugging-Decorating-9-5-11-1mm/dp/B07JLJT1BN/ref=sxin_9_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?cv_ct_cx=1%2F8+rivets&dchild=1&keywords=1%2F8+rivets&pd_rd_i=B07JLJT1BN&pd_rd_r=711f0726-6ab0-4514-80de-8e85d50a3c9d&pd_rd_w=cFMcR&pd_rd_wg=uVRzL&pf_rd_p=9d5c7dec-ad7e-424f-9792-7751bf0f49a3&pf_rd_r=HDJYBQPDT5MTRPXNQD06&qid=1622926768&sr=1-4-a73d1c8c-2fd2-4f19-aa41-2df022bcb241-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTkVCVEpKWjcyVUM1JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDc1MzE3MlEzUjhTMUgxRzM0WiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTc5NzA5M0lVUzVTUEE4MkFUSSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3NlYXJjaF90aGVtYXRpYyZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
  16. Okay let's be 100% clear here. The CRL had to change because people started using larger rivets for whatever reason. Folks here had been using 1/8th rivets with no issues here for years. So we had to address it. 1/8 refers to the diameter. That is what is being specified on the packaging. At least on the bog standard Arrow rivets most of us use:
  17. The rivets you bought should say 1/8" 3mm on the packaging. Those are the ones you want. What we are trying to avoid are the large flange rivets that people have suddenly started using for some unknown reason the past few years.
  18. This makes me so happy! Remember to consult the Scoutopedia for production sources! http://www.501stpathfinders.com/scoutopedia.php Here's a good shot of how the earholes should look:
  19. Thanks for that, I forgot about Shore Beamer's achievement! Yeah I was going to put both.
  20. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Theo "ScaryGuy" Van Geffen (ST-31026) to the illustrious ranks of the Vanguard Shoretroopers! Now many of you may be saying -- "hey wait, Theo was already a Vanguard!" True, but he retired his grunt costume so this is a new approval based on his two versions of the Shoretrooper Squad Leader. Theo becomes the first Pathfinder to ever get Vanguard with different versions of the Shoretrooper. And it's a credit to his excellence that the review team had only one small adjustment for him to make. Great job, @ScaryGuy! Please post a picture of each of your troopers in this thread for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. If not, I will take a pic from your application. Check out ST-31026's application here:
  21. Sweet! In the mean time, can you take CRL photos of all your gear? It will help immensely with writing the bullet points. You can save the front and back pics for when you finish your new helmet. You can use the ROTS-version CRL as a guide for how to arrange your gear when photographing it: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CB_Kashyyyk_trooper Thank you!
  22. I think the larger helmet looks better.
  23. What they did in the Mandalorian was a little bit different than what was seen in the Rogue One bonus extras. They kept the SL style belt.
  24. We started this new program about 2 years ago. When you hit 100, you're allowed to purchase an awesome rocker that says "Ranger" that fits perfectly under your 4 inch Pathfinder patch. So get started logging your Pathfinder troops: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/141-pathfinder-trooping-awards/
  25. You could try the GENTLE application of heat to the glue to help loosen it up. But I do mean gentle. ABS loves to warp if it gets too hot. E6000 is the go to around here for glue on the Scout. Helps maintain the overall flexibility of the costume.
