  1. Just remember for the Mando Scout you need a TIE fighter pilot undersuit, which differs from the suit used by the ROTJ Scout. @StephTrooper specializes in Mando Scout soft goods, and she was the one that made them for the TV show.
  2. As for black paint, that's something best asked over at Spec Ops. They are the experts when it comes to black armor! We pretty much stick to white and beige around here. https://specops501st.com/
  3. Thanks! Have no idea what the rules are on these
  4. Aren't all the weapons customisable? I have no idea I don't play BF.
  5. @Shore_2_Keeli -- first Mountain Trooper pics out in the wild. Let's get these up on Social media!
  6. It's cool, I asked him to research this. People ask for the Battlefront weapons to be added to the CRL but they don't realize that in a lot of cases, they simply don't exist. This is one of them that needed to be created from the ground up.
  7. The top flap ideally is completely covered by the chest armor so stitches for velcro wouldn't be showing. I have velcro on mine
  8. @Gertjan Kool -- any advice?
  9. That's great! Make sure we get some pics
  10. As long as it's an eating implement of some sort, that's what's important!
  11. Sorry you and your family are dealing with this, Nathan. We are always going to be here for you; plastic spacemen can wait.
  12. There was an auction two years ago that we got a lot of great photos from. As soon as the hero blaster photos appeared for this new auction, several people sent them to me and I got them loaded up in the Scoutopedia. Thanks for the post!
  13. Check out the Scoutopedia! We already have most of those in there http://www.501stpathfinders.com/scoutopedia.php
  14. If the armor covers it, then it would be fine for level 2. If not, then further steps would need to be taken.
  15. Main post edited with the great new patterns by @woobiee
  16. Wow these are great! We'll double check them but if you don't mind I would love to add them to our pinned posts on soft goods
  17. Yeah we've done a few reviews of the CP boots on the forum. The reason why they offer the under boots now is because the Detachment reached out and asked for that to be an option. We felt that their full boot offering wasn't as screen accurate as we would like and giving people the ability to make their own boot covers would lead to a better result.
  18. Ah. These are standard equestrian boots. I think if you need something a little more unique, you may need to try an actual equestrian boot maker.
  19. Not sure what you mean by "short", but I'm a size 12 and these are the boots I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YLQAXS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  20. If you're interested in weathering tips, I highly suggest you check out Christina's Mando Scout WIP. It's a masterclass:
  21. If you could add one more thing to your list, may I suggest removing the rivets from your belt (the ones connecting the three belt pieces together). You can use E6000 to glue the belt together. Then the rivet holes can be filled in and painted. The only rivets on the belt should be the one on each side holding the rear strapping to the hard belt.
  22. Plenty of pics in the Scoutopedia!
  23. Yes, stick with the standard. Large flange rivets weren't used in ROTJ, so we don't use them on the ROTJ Scout. If they showed up on the Mandalorian Scout somewhere, that's a different story. Basically, you can't go wrong with these:
  24. For an example of a large flange rivet, check these out. These would be a no-no: https://www.amazon.com/HJ-Garden-Self-Plugging-Decorating-9-5-11-1mm/dp/B07JLJT1BN/ref=sxin_9_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?cv_ct_cx=1%2F8+rivets&dchild=1&keywords=1%2F8+rivets&pd_rd_i=B07JLJT1BN&pd_rd_r=711f0726-6ab0-4514-80de-8e85d50a3c9d&pd_rd_w=cFMcR&pd_rd_wg=uVRzL&pf_rd_p=9d5c7dec-ad7e-424f-9792-7751bf0f49a3&pf_rd_r=HDJYBQPDT5MTRPXNQD06&qid=1622926768&sr=1-4-a73d1c8c-2fd2-4f19-aa41-2df022bcb241-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTkVCVEpKWjcyVUM1JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDc1MzE3MlEzUjhTMUgxRzM0WiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTc5NzA5M0lVUzVTUEE4MkFUSSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3NlYXJjaF90aGVtYXRpYyZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
  25. Okay let's be 100% clear here. The CRL had to change because people started using larger rivets for whatever reason. Folks here had been using 1/8th rivets with no issues here for years. So we had to address it. 1/8 refers to the diameter. That is what is being specified on the packaging. At least on the bog standard Arrow rivets most of us use:
