  1. Like I said, most of us just use the Aker. I keep the speaker in my left pouch and run the wire under my bund. Thinking about moving the speaker into my chest piece though, because I dont like the way my pouch sags with the Aker in it. And also, we have not, to my knowledge, evaluated a Lancer applicant's speaker set up so in this case I'd say don't ask, don't tell.
  2. Static burst is not allowable for Lancer, although we rarely evaluate scout sound systems. I got the Aker for $40. It came with a mic. As was stated above, you can hide the wire under your soft goods.
  3. Your bund is too long and your pouches are too low. The bund should end right about at the belt line and your bund is going way under the belt. Pouches should be moved up to meet the chest armor. Then the belt should sit right under the pouches. Bund and pouches should end in about the same place. Like this dude: Hope this helps! Good job with your rebuild
  4. Thanks for your application! We will review and get back to you
  5. it depends on how much you want to spend and how much you do yourself. With a lot of time spent on a sewing machine you can probably get it under $1000. With a bit more outsourcing, probably closer to $1500 Again, I encourage you to get in touch with the So. California Biker Scout ART, we can help you with local resources.
  6. This one has reached legendary status. Although I don't agree with it 100%, it is a fantastic primer: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=9781
  7. I can't remember the last time I saw a motorcycle suit on a prospect. The coveralls are fine. They are very easily tailored if they are too baggy
  8. Those are great! And yes, lining up the pouch with the outer edge of the chest armor seems more pertinent than trying to line it up with the ribs on the bund
  9. I was able to rivet the top and bottom of my SC just fine, but I also used E6000 just in case
  10. I have stuff from Cucblack and I will stand by the statement that he makes quality props. The issue has been the shipping service he's used in the past. Hopefully he has remedied this and he will come back here and make amends with the folks that have outstanding orders with him.
  11. Hot glue is definitely not the strongest hold, but it's probably one of the easiest to re-do if something gets messed up. It's easy to scrape off the residue and start over again if something disastrous happens like your lens breaking.....
  12. YES! Is it a Facebook group? Make sure to add me and Chex

  14. Hey Scouts! It's with great pleasure I welcome Sandy "Republic_Trooper" Burbano, TB-55118, to the Lancers! Thank you for your hard work and good attitude, Sandy. Please get a picture off to Cheyenne so she can add you to the Lancer wall!
  15. Welcome to BS.net! I'd say negative on the KS armor. KS bucket, fine. But go SC for armor.
  16. Dude Sea Garrison ART added! Welcome to the program
  17. And the hits just keep on coming Scouts! Please join me in welcoming Brian "Shada" TB-27138 to the ranks of the Lancers! Good job, Brian. Thanks for your patience and good attitude. Be sure to get a pic to Cheyenne to add to the Lancer Wall!
  18. Hey Q! A question has come up about the butt patch. Would it be possible for you suit up and give us a picture of the back with some better visibility of the suede patches? Maybe getting a photo in the sunlight would help. Thanks
