Yo dudes! Don't forget you can use gaffer's tape inside the helmet too. Ya know, like they did in the movie That's what I did with my RS Props bucket, because I did not want to paint the inside of it black. And don't forget you can get the bolts that were used in the originals here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10270

Correct. I posted it just to show how the pouches attach to the bund. Here's another photo that is more troop worthy. Here you can also see that the pouches are attached to the bund and not the chest armor:
-
We are talking Lancer only first off.... for Basic you can still attach the pouches to the chest armor and not to the bund. For Lancer you have to display each piece of your costume, so we'll see straight off if the pouches are attached to the bund or not If you want to put velcro on the front to keep them attached to the chest armor, which will also help keep your bund up, that should be fine. We're trying to achieve a look here.

Our Advance Recon Teams are the best!

Those soft goods are also trash-worthy

I have no doubt that someday soon someone will have a great 3d printed Scout armor kit. But that day hasn't come yet so I would hate to see anyone throw their money away when there are so many other options out there

We are going to allow dark brown

Get in touch with one of these members: Maxsscifi Chunk Chrisx909x They all make soft goods and are located in the USA.

There's too many things wrong with that set for it to pass.

You can do sewing or velcro, as long as it looks like this:

For Lancer, pouches need to be attached to the cummerbund, just FYI!

No sir! It is only a preference. But we would hope that once you get your ART up and running, all of the members will shoot for Lancer -
Looks like your pouches are reversed. You want the straight side on the inside and the angled side on the outside Looking good, man!

The KS as-is will pass basic, but why not be the best you can be? -
Helmet Recomendations?
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScoutAlexx's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Off the top of my head: Visor bolts need to be changed Decals need to be changed Snout needs to be changed Mesh needs to be removed from earholes and the inside needs to be blackened with paint or gaffers tape The plastic trim they add to the bottom needs to be removed -

Helmet Recomendations?
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScoutAlexx's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
They get a bad rep and deservedly so, but I think KS makes a good trooping bucket. It's proportions are closer to the screen used one, it's light ABS and it's not expensive. It does need a bit to make it look accurate, but it is a good start and better, IMHO, than the SC or MLC. -
I think Spike's helmet will fit glasses. I have known some troopers to get prescription goggles to fit under helmets. Which is even more money $1200-$1500 is a good ballpark, depending on how much you do yourself. The most money is to be saved making your own soft goods and boots.

Check out the trade forum. We have quite a few soft goods makers that advertise in there. I know they are fairly easy to make but most people I know (including myself) had one commissioned. Get in touch with Spike. He's also in Australia and probably has good leads on folks there that make them

Yes 1.5 is fine. We have changed it to that. Or 35mm for folks overseas
-
Right. They used the same type of grenade against the tank on Jedha.

Maybe its meant to be kept inside the TD. Or what we call the TD. Obviously they aren't TDs if they aren't being used as such Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk

And please, give the helmet comparison thread a look: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10737

There is a difference between all the helmets and the more you work with them the more you see the differences. To my eye, the KS helmet looks more accurate proportion-wise, even if it needs more work with the little bits to make it more screen accurate. The SC looks small and therefore looks better on folks with smaller builds.

Flak vest should not be super tight, but not baggy either. It should fit just right....
