  1. Nice looking Scout! Easy pass for basic. Nice sizing on the pouches and great placement of the belt -- right on your waist where it belongs! Just what Chef said. If you can, loosen up that cod strap so it's not pulling so hard between your legs.
  2. That's great! I just made the update
  3. To my eyes they are too big. I think 6x5x2 would be a much better fit. But those pouches will be fine for approval. 7x6 was the norm for so long there are tons of scouts out there with pouches that are too big. Here is the Scout from the Costumes book as a reference
  4. Right this is what I've heard. The bolts that KW designs sells are just a lot of the originals that he got his hands on. And they are the proper color.
  5. Welcome to the Pathfinders buddy! Make sure you make an Access Request for full Pathfinder status
  6. I like the second one. Simple, to the point, and inclusive of all Pathfinder costumes.
  7. I've added you all to the roster! When you get a name, let me know and I will edit. I don't know if you read the conversation about names, but I would avoid anything with "Pathfinder" in it. Just to not run afoul of Legion rules should you decide to make merch. Welcome!
  8. Great! Always good to have more options
  9. Do you have a name and a point of contact worked out? Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  10. I thought those were the wrong color? Don't they come in black even though the picture is gray? Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  11. EDIT: Went back and measured and this time looked very carefully. It is indeed 22 mm. My American eyes just gloss over those tiny little hash marks on the ruler sometimes! or you can just buy the accurate ones here: http://forum.bikersc...showtopic=10270
  12. If you are only 6 feet tall, any armor will be fine for you. You may want to avoid the SC helmet though. They tend to look better on shorter scouts.
  13. If you're looking for an Altmann, then you should ask the man himself! http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=78390
  14. SC used to do 3 piece belts but they make 1 pieces now
  15. I mean... unless you are either really short or really tall, those dimensions will look best. The pouches are supposed to fit right in there between the bottom of the chest armor and top of the belt and there just isnt huge differences in that gap based on height. The problem with trying to adjust it is that more often than not people screw it up. So they either end up with two pizza boxes or two marshmallows. But that's my preference. 16. Whether you are able to troop with something that is not part of the CRL is up to your Garrison. Check with them and see if it is okay. Many Scouts troop with long rifles so it's not all that unusual.
  17. 6x5x2.
  18. Most folks just use tea!
  19. "Polished cotton" was how the fabric was described in the Costumes book. It's cotton with a bit of a shine created during the weaving process. It is not your only choice for Lancer however. Many folks like to use duck cloth or canvas, although I personally think that's a bit heavy. What you picked up looks fine for a cummerbund. You won't need the off white stuff. If you choose to go that route, it's better to dye your pouches and cotton strapping together so it all matches.
  20. You can do whatever you want to your costume. Now whether your Garrison allows you to troop in it is entirely up to them. In my Garrison, where they expect us to follow the CRL, they would not go for it. Our Scout CRL is made to match Return of the Jedi, we typically don't change it to address the video games, though we have added the sniper rifle.
  21. Looks like an easy pass for Basic. And just a few nits to clear up for Lancer. My biggest nit is the pouches being crooked. And the bund going past the belt in the back. Well done.
  22. I just did this earlier this year. You just cut the fabric holding the zipper in. No need to tear the glove apart.
  23. It's by far the most screen accurate out there! Can't say enough good things about it. And I guess I'll have a SC kit for sale soon
  24. I'll be tackling that holster next! Then after that the TD
  25. Strapping the armor was pretty easy. Strider cuts the slits for the elastic very thin so the slit itself holds the strap very well. All I did was add some hot glue on the inside to hold it down. Which is great because I didn't want to mess with velcro. And of course, I riveted the extra strap to the knee I made that top strap 11 inches, but your mileage may vary Here are all the pieces strapped up:
