  1. Hey Phil, sorry its been a bit before ive responded. Its great to have a serviceman jumping into the cammo. Admittedly, as was stated earlier, there arent a lot of vendors for this kit. The one i bought the kit from was Bikerchick here on the forums but it seems shes not offering it any longer. There are some 3D print files floating around, I've seen some 3D printed kits become approved. Honestly im trying to get a 2nd kit myself, i will let you know if i have any luck. 2. You've come to the right place Sean. Welcome to the forest! There are currently several vendors who sell the kit. Under the armor section there is a list of vendors and a comparison beteen the different kits. There are also several vendors who sell the soft goods. I know wampawear sell the gloves, crowprops sell the gloves and boots. There are a lot of great tutorials on here of how to create the different soft parts.
  3. Hey Josh, its great to have ya. It sounds like your well on your way with your kit. As far as whether or not the 3D printed files will work or not that would be up to your garrison GML. I haven't heard of any 3D print files NOT working. If you have any questions when your further into the build drop myself or Ferra a line. We are both resident Armorers of the Kashyyyk kit. Sorry it took a minute for me to get back with you on your build. Honestly I love the Kashyyyk kit, it is definitely a labor of love! But everyone LOVES it when its finished.
  4. Another great option is altmanns barn find. You get in touch with Spike here, i got a big noggin and it fits me great. This is the studio creation kit with Spikes helmet.
  5. My scout is a mixture of washes, mists and just paint application. I like how it looks and i stand out somewhat in a crowd of scouts. I over did the spray a little and it came right off with rubbing alcohol. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  6. Hey man i would be happy to help with kashyyyk trooper, what questions do you have. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  7. Hey there, its great to have you. You have come to the right place to build a Kashyyyk kit. I finished my Kashyyyk earlier this year and would love to help in any way possible. I have honestly never heard of anyone making the kit with foam, but you can buy the whole plastic and resin armor kit either here on the pathfinder boards by messaging our member bikerchick. Or you can purchase from Daves Armory on facebook. You are also going to want to get your hands on DPM desert camo fatigues that you will be converting to make your undersuite. You just do a search for DPM desert fatigues, they come from the UK its ideal to find 100% cotton tops and bottoms as the 100% cotton dye the best when you get to that step. You can buy gloves from wampawear.com and boots from crowprops.com. A lot of people commission people for the pouches and cummerbund but i made my own. Admittedly this kit is a labor of love but you will learn a lot and you will be proud of it in the end. Its my favorite kit I own. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  11. Looks great just keep going, if you have any questions whatsoever ask, we will be happy to help.
  12. Well you're just about there. Are you looking to purchase those parts or try your hand at building them yourself? We can help if you do want to sew them yourself and would be happy to help. I actually learned how to sew by sewing my cummerbund.
  13. Looks awesome
  14. Mine is made of wood, pvc and other materials.
  15. I used a rivet to attach the drop boxes to the belt, then i used velcro to attach the belt in the back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  16. I live in utah and have recently created the kashyyyk kit. I just did a search on amazon for british desert dpm and it brought up a couple options. I purchased my top and bottom from there. The camo style is whats most important because of how the high contrast of the background color and camo colors and how it reacts after it gets dyed. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  20. That snout bridge doesnt look filled in, it needs to be filled in and a sticker placed over it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  21. Biker scouts dont use neckseal's other than that everything else looks awesomesauce.
  22. Those look fantastic Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  23. This is an image of the screen accurate scout. Right off the top of my head i would say drop boxes hang a little too low.
  24. Ahhh, kay you can just get that webbing from amazon.com. Your kit shouldve come with most of the cotton strapping. But you will need more of the different sizes for the elastics. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
