  1. Great work, I use a similar setup, with a metal trigger guard and magnets in the boot holster
  2. A lot of 501st costumes have higher levels, L2, L3, in bikers case its Lancer (L2), Stormtrooper EIB (L2) or Centurion (L3), Officers Executor (L2) or Imperator (L3), basically it's just making your costume more screen accurate, quite easy if you do it from the get go but not hard to work up to after basic approval.
  3. Hello and welcome aboard
  4. Nice work, I'd look at moving your shoulders closer in, there is a big gap there, also adjust your drop box straps and connectors so they are in alignment. Good luck
  5. Congratulations and welcome to the Lancer ranks
  6. Looking good, watch the heights of your bicep armor, also rotate them further to the front. If possible I would try to bring your shoulders in a little more to reduce the gap. Perhaps lengthen the drop box straps a little as they look a bit tight. The straps look quite bunched in the slots you may want to open them up a little more. Knee amror could also do to be rotated to the front a little more. You may need to add some stiffener to the boots as they are a little crumpled, I added an elastic loop with Velcro to the inside of my holster boot, helps to keep it up. From the side you can see that the chest plate is sitting up higher than the back, you could try to bring the front of your chest down a little, will bring your pouches down so they are closer to the belt, would bring your back plate upwards but I don't think that will be an issue. Good luck
  7. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  8. Nice work Tony, looking much better
  9. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  10. I was going to add the touch section from a phone glove to my biker glove, as well as other costumes There is also this how too http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-A-Glove-Work-With-A-Touch-Screen/
  11. I use spring washers behind the nuts, works well and keeps enough tension to hold the helmet open
  12. As suggested I would trim a little more. But if you don't want to trim anymore you could try a little paintable white silicon, you can smear off excess and get a nice finish with a dab of water on your finger and wipe.
