Once you get the boxes setting where they need to be have someone mark the spot on the belt. You want the area where they are attached too be covered up by the thermal detonator.
-
I would sew them on,but a lot of people rivet them on as well.
-
Also a rivet gun will run you less than 10 bucks at harbor freight and I think some Walmarts carry them. Then a pack of 1/8 rivets and rivet washers.
-
I always e6000 the fabric belt to the plastic and then a rivet with a piece of extra plastic for backing. Heres a thread with some good info on a three piece belt. Also did the belt come with holes pre drilled like that?

What kit do you have? The biggest thing is matching the decal color to the snout color. The best decals can run a little dark to a little lite so as long as they match your good. -

Just so you know those are the new style bolts. If your wanting the old style like used on the movie helmets you might have to go with a resin set. Someone around here was selling resin copies. I can't remember who. -
I second this!

Beautiful! Yeah I just said it! -
I totally forgot about hyperfirm I had one and yes it's a perfect fit with SC holster.
-
DVH makes my favorite blaster. It's super light and comes with a magnet system. He has a thread up and I believe hes still taking orders.
-
The sc holster is a bit over sized. I know most 3d scouts blasters ran small.
-
RS for me. Like chopper said it's more for display.

The MANDALORIAN Biker Scouts
Stroker replied to Rosso's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" HQ
Yes. I could go there, but I'll chill 😎 as for a new CRL I dont think there's enough to justify that. That bund.... -
I know of one scout who used E6000 on the Velcro for his knees. He went through a couple of different glues and eventually just sewed the velcro. Someone else might have some more info on glue.

My new Scout Helmet Fan question
Stroker replied to Corporaldanger's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Some scouts around here run fans in thier helmets. I live in the south where it's super hot and humid and never needed a fan. However I have a fan set up in my TK.Someone might chime in with some fan info for the scout.- 2 replies

Off white can be hard to find. I myself think all the scouts had same white pouches and strapping. The off white color is just from shooting in the redwoods and the scout stuff being tossed around. If I was gonna go off white I use the tea method of dyeing.

Strange thing from the armor kit
Stroker replied to Thamiar's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
The tanks on the screen suits were held in place via a 1/2" elastic strap. Check this out. -
A single layer is all you need. It needs to adjusted to your size. Heres some solid info.

Holster cracked at all rivets
Stroker replied to tidalforce's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Yeah you can trim that but your gonna be stuck with the holes. Now you can cut some small pieces of vinyl and fill the holes with them along with a piece of vinyl on the back inside of the boot to glue them too. If that makes any sense.
