Same here. Looks just like what I made my first couple of boots out of. It takes a bit more heat to get it to stretch than the smoother stuff. Yes it'll make a nice pair of boots.

Stay away from the krylon fusion paint if you have that where you live. I use the regular krylon paints and to I use rustolem paints the automotive enamels I just don't mix the two. Something else find one brand and stick with it don't mix paint brands. They can cause big problems.

Dude how did you remove the snout and riser plate? Mine seems to be glued really good and I don't wanna crack my face plate getting it off. I'm wanting to replace it with a DVH piece. Any info on that?

Here's to hoping Rogue one will touch on the scouts. I'm liking the shots from that way more than the TFA. There's a whole lot of lineage to the OG trilogy if you look around at the items here and there.

Nope. Cotton webbing for Lancer. As far as attaching the bells to bridge of the shoulders I use half inch black elastic as do most.

Don't put me on the holster though bud.

Did the elastic just slip down the legs during the wash? If so just pop the legs back through it. Nope I use a Rubbermaid tub and hand wash and then towel dry mine. Same for the bund.

Hey that's the way my first paired looked! That stuff will start to come to easier the more you do it. 5 bucks says you'll go back and redo this one after you get the next one done!

Most all of us use Velcro. I really don't care for the snap method on the scout. Other guys do. Either way you decide to go it's not going to affect you clearance in basic or lancer. I'd go with Velcro cheaper and easier. Sometimes those farting snaps don't seat right and it's a pain.

Too it'll only fit the right boot. Unless you wanna play quick draw with it.

I havent ordered soft parts but I have ordered a belt and shoulders bells from them and was quoted 16 to 20 weeks turn around. The time frame has gotten longer due to some other projects they're working on from what I've collected.
