Just the normal automotive kind is what most of us used

I have lots of scratches on my shins from the toe caps.... & lots of scratches on my chest armor from taking up a firing posture with my rifle... It adds to the armor, makes it look use & more real

same thing happened to mine, so I might be sand blasting everything down, reinforcing the tank, then repainting the whole armor

I guess I have a really big head cuase my bucket it tiggggghht

that's a dark path many have traveled... the boots are fantastic but the wait could be up to a year (some people still waiting) Crow had issues in the past but I heard he was tryig to make everything right

I use Velcro on my boots and toe caps with no issues but I added an extra hight to the toe caps so they don't seem to catch as much... as for the cummerbund I used snaps to connect the cummerbund to the chest o the bdu;s

Yeah the back hash marks have been off my helmet for a while (I cut them out and painted the inside black, you wouldn't even notice now) Great job on the tear drop stencil, im probably going to hve to sand blast my whole armor and redo my tank ad repaint so I might get ahold of you for the stencil (I free drew min on)

keep it up, how long till you put in for approval?!

This was my first build and I would say it was difficult for a beginner but really its all a learning curve. I dont have anybody in my area to help with armor parties so if you have other members around you that will be a huge help, but we are here to help you as well. and remember "Size matters not"

LoL, kids always getting in the way... That's why you should lays travel with a handler and be mindfull of everything going on around you.

good to see you around again James, sadly the same applies for me. real life has gotten in the way, but it has helped me out a lot for troops.... When I live there is only 1 other member in a 500Km radius, but this course im on has me in cental Canada and we have 200+ members in that same 500Km radius. But the point of this comment was to throw my opinion in here saying that I like the idea of switching the designator to "KT" but im also against it since 95% of the approved members have multiple pices of clothing or merchandise with the "CB" designator on it.... So really im on the fence about it

you know what I jsut realzed? Im not hang the same issue you guys are because i lengthened the top of the toe cap since I bound BC's version to be too short in comparision with the ref pics... If you check out my WIP you will see what I mean.

just astounding Will, wow. So umm you can just pack that up and send it to me because I sure you don't want t keep that first one right? lol I might have to change my mind on the next build I want to do, since Ive been watching this glorious creation since the beginning

I think it looks awesome, great job. That's the great thing about the KST though, each clone painted their own armor so each set was different. We are each unique but all the same

Yeah nobody here will attack you on anything, we are all here to help you out and just point out the issues that might stop your approval. another point on the gloves... do you have the grey wrist strap.. ref: Matts picture above where the black meets brown

*IF* you get it online make sure it is NOT the "windproof" ones... they will not take the dye

Keep working on what they told you too and you'll be approved buddy
