    I got a note from KS over the weekend and my helmet/armor kit should ship this Friday. It should have expedited shipping but will take at least a week since I am in Texas (coming from Canada), eh?! I'll update this topic with pics, etc and based on my conversations with KS expect this to be a good run and set.

    I just finished this up and wanted to share the pics and build. It's basically a hollow plastic DLT-19 body (cushman), about 3 1/2 feet of 1" PVC, filled w/insulation foam, glued, filled, added toy scope from a kids gun, sanded painted, and weathered. NOT for normal canon usage. It was a fun project.

    I think the costume makes it easier to realize the guns are fake. Of course a guy walking down the street in jeans and a t-shirt, carrying a BFG like this would get some attention!

    I wrote KS again (should have shipped last week), still waiting... I did see some awesome shots of 'asiandood's' new KS kit. He should be posting pics soon, it looks great.

    That's pretty cool man. I bet it looks totally rad in person! You need some arm damage, like from falling or something. Maybe even some leg damage too.

    I guess the name of the game is patience. I'm still waiting for the word of my armor shipping. As of this date, still nothing. I'm hoping to get a message this week stating that it's on the way. Everything else is ready to rock...stand by! In other news, my flak vest is almost complete. Just making a few tweaks to the sleeves before posting pics. Also, I've almost finished with a new Cushman DLT19. I added the primer this weekend and she will be curing for the next few days. I hope to get the flat black on it this weekend. I'll update once I know more from KS...
