  1. I used an Exacto knife with the chisel blade. Get 2 though, you'll need it.
  2. Looking good! Only feedback would be to watch the bund height. It tends to slip below the chest part a bit. We all experience that at times. You might also pull the shoulder bells a bit closer up to your collar. Overall, great looking Scout. You'll make a great Pathfinder!
  3. I think many of us Scouts would love your clips. I'm good with some things, but not that and those clips look g-r-e-a-t!
  4. Cool, you are off to a great start! If you have not already, go get yourself a free Photobucket account. That's the best way to upload photos and post links.
  5. I agree with Chex...mine is KS I've been there and done it. Grab a holster and drop boxes from Jeff @ SC, greeblies from Don-Jarr, and decals from Trooperbay. You can also replace the webbing using cotton from various places like Jontay.com. The KS kit can look good but requires some work to get it better. Hit me up on PM if you need some help.
  6. These are really nice Terry. Any chance you would offer a set of these for sale??
  7. I agree with the above comments. You have some things to update but nothing you can't handle (strapping, decals, etc). Review the feedback and make some modifications. We'll help you along.
  8. If I follow you...asking how many stripes for a rank? Best to follow what is seen on screen.
  9. Wow, very impressive! Thanks for posting this great info and pics!
  10. Yeah, I'm sure that's why we see them using a BFG in the Battlefront game. We also see them using the E-11 in several artistic paintings and pics; It makes sense from a Military stand-point. The scout was only seen in ROTJ for such a short time too. But still, one of my favorite Stormtroopers and why I love being a Pathfinder!
  11. I use mine at events, but not at official Canon events. The main CRL is what we should follow. I'm not sure how you found that second CRL link, it has an older "last update" date. I have not seen many official events in my area. Maybe Marcel, Cyberscout, or Chex could weigh in on this one.
  12. Great pistol from Smitty and yours looks awesome John! Nice work!
  13. That's interesting. The main CRL does not include the DLT-19. Hmmm... http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Scout_trooper
  14. Ya, only the Scout holdout blaster is a Canon weapon for us (official Star Wars events). But, for general trooping, some scouts carry whatever is handy.
  15. There is a German MG-34 strap that could work, just depends on your blaster. I have a Cushman DLT-19 Sniper that has been super-mod'ed and I made a strap for it out of nylon webbing. It works for me, although not Canon for scouts.
  16. Nice choice. Hang in there and it will all be worth it.
  17. I like the new option the best. Seriously, nice work Terry.
  18. Looks like an Altmanns lid to me.
